I wanted to like this, I really did, but this manhwa was just... mid. It's honestly the first time I've read a pure harem story with a murim setting, so it was pretty unique; there were plenty of plot devices that spiced up the story, and it wasn't unoriginal. However, the praise stops there, as these same plot devices ultimately killed any form of satisfaction or entertainment.

An unfortunate end at chapter 50 verified on MAL and the original Korean source
This Manhwa was really good, an MC who spent years becoming stronger before addressing the main story. He had tact, intelligence, strength and resolve. I have never seen an MC deadset on staying away from all romance paths with the original heroines It's not a typical tropey situation of conquering Heroines, it's pure cold survival. You could use this Manhwa as the ideal example of combining excellence with game mechanics & survival. While we don't know why it ended prematurely at chapter 50, the end is a bummer.
