Synopsis

Lee Jian, who was released from a prestigious youth team in Italy, spends his days idling away as a substitute. As usual, he boasts to his childhood friend, Kim Jiwoo, claiming to be a genius, but then he hears the shocking news that Jiwoo is coming to Italy to study abroad. Determined not to disappoint his precious (?) friend Jiwoo, Jian sets his sights on becoming a starter.

In truth, Jian is a genius that appears once every few decades. But even he doesn't know this about himself...

Nothing really all that special.

The plot is meh, very predictable and lacklustre. It has potential to become something good in the future, that's the best thing that can be said of it. The team tactics aren't really explored in much detail.

The characters are alright. They're very one dimensional and character development is basically non existent. Except if you classify the main character going from an unconfident soccer genius to a confident soccer genius as character development (this hasn't happened yet but probably will).

The art is probably the best thing about this. The actual football games are easy enough to understand, partly because of the simple ...
