I am quite shocked to see this anime only has a 6.87 rating since It's one of the most interesting series I've read this year.
As of writing this only 5 chapters are out so everything could change but so far I really enjoy this work.
The main characters are good, Susui so far Is not very interesting, he is a type of character that we've seen plenty before and he hasn't had time to develop or shine so in the future he could either become very cool or kinda boring. expected her to be overly cutesy or be something very edgy to contrast her appearance but she is actually much more collected than I expected and she carries with her a very subtle mix of cynicism and melancholy that fits pretty well with Shusui.
The only relevant antagonist we've seen so far Is a bit of a clichê to be honest and I'm not a particular fan of either her personality or appearance.
The worldbuilding so far is very interesting and well done.
The art is incredible and the mix of the cute magical girl aesthetic with violent scenes is mostly done very well.
So I would say that this is a foundation for what could be a fantastical story, I hope the author keep up the good work
