My First Review – 44th Period

This is my first time writing a review. I'm a big fan of horror—whether it's manga, manhwa, OEL, you name it. I stumbled across 44th Period while randomly scrolling through Webtoon. I was bored and decided to give it a shot (which I usually don’t do, since I’m very picky about what I read). At first, I hesitated because the art didn’t immediately connect with me, but I decided to stick with it—and after the first chapter, I was hooked.

The story follows a group of students in what I’d describe as an “apocalyptic” world. Strange “dark holes” have appeared, and ... anyone who enters can’t come back out. The concept behind these holes—and what lies inside them—is absolutely awesome. One of the holes swallows their school, and the world within is both terrifying and fascinating. It’s massive, mysterious, and full of story potential. If the author keeps up the momentum, this could turn into something truly special.

There are some great twists, and the story makes you think. It’s not just horror for horror’s sake—there’s actual depth here. I’m rarely unsettled by horror in drawn form, and while I wasn’t exactly scared here, the eerie atmosphere definitely got under my skin.

It’s hard to explain everything without spoiling it, but trust me—give 44th Period a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Usually I don't write reviews on any manhwa/manga but this time I have to say that this manhwa was beyond my expectations i am scoring it 8 out of 10 because the storyline was very captivating basically some school students were trapped inside a black circle with their whole school so it became nightmare for them as there was monster like creatures ( well they were not basically monsters to me they were more like ghosts ) so the plot was how they were gonna get out from that black circle it's a survival manhwa with plot twist and mystery i am a worm of ... horror books so I have read many books , manhwa , manga but this was the best horror manhwa I have ever read at first I thought the artstyle was kinda simple as I have read many Gothic manga but after reading 1 chapter I was addicted to the plot as well as the artstyle so those who are into horror manhwa/manga should definitely give it a try
