I can‘t believe there are this little reviews on such a beautiful and memorable story. This is the type of manhwa that will leave a long lasting impression on you and that really gets you in your feelings.

Characters: 10/10
I love the complexity of each character especially of those that seem unreasonable and evil at first. (Special shoutout to the relationship between Yoonsung‘s grandpa and dad, I cried my soul out to them)

Romance: 9,5/10
Just so so sweet and perfect. Yoosung is the greenest green flag alive and the BIGGEST YEARNER

Plot: 9,5/10
While it isn‘t the most thrilling and unique plot it is still extremely interesting and ... not predictable! There were multiple moments in this manhwa where I genuinely didn’t expect the following plot twists and this makes me appreciate the story even more now.

It is quite a short read so just give it a shot, I can guarantee that you won‘t regret it!

One of a kind Webtoon/Manhwa, one of the BEST things I've read in a VERY long time.

If there's one thing that I desire the most whenever I read a webtoon, it's a dramatic, yet realistic story that throws you on a RIDE.
Reunion did that and so much more and whenever possible I will try to get my hands on a physical copy if there ever is one - it's THAT good!

The premise of the story originally turned me off. A poor boy in dire need of money, decides to crossdress by the request of a wealthy family, in order to grand the sickly, elderly ... head of the family the wish to meet the granddaughter of a family he feels indebted towards, who used to live in the very neighborhood where the poor boy is still living in to this day.

Stories like these always worry me, because I fear that everything leads to the "straight guy" in the story repeatedly declaring how he's "oh so straight, but doesn't truly understand how he can love the bottom from the deepest parts of his heart." Gay/Bi panic exist. People learning about their sexual orientation later in life is also not a foreign concept. That being said, could the author put more emphasis on this? Yes. I think including an even more dramatic scene where Yoonsung comes to fully acknowledge his sexual orientation than the one we've received would have been nice, but beggars can't be choosers considering how Hollywood and many other forms of media (esp in the BL genre) have butchered this kind of trope multiple times, in order to keep homosexuality/bisexuality an anomaly.
Originally, I only kept on reading, because the writing was simply that good and I wasn't able to stop, but ultimately, this work truly blew me away. Again, the whole crossdressing thing and its conclusion wasn't necessarily perfect, but regardless of that I believe that the author found a very good way of creating balance, as the chemistry between the two MC's was OFF the charts.
On top of that, I have always wished for sex scenes in BL to have more of a deeper, more impactful reason to be included. No judgement to anyone who gets off to smutty BLs whatsoever, but the sex scenes in here were just absolute cinema. They felt so tremendously satisfying. Seeing them yearn for one another, craving each other's touch... UGH! xD
Words simply cannot describe how good this work is.

Art will always be subjective, but I also think that the artist did a great job as well. Not only was every panel drawn with a lot of care, but the artist decided to include scenic panels that made this whole experience feel like a K-Drama/Movie. I absolutely loved how the artist was not afraid to just follow their guts and painted whatever they felt was necessary to deliver the current moods accordingly. From every rain droplet to every ray of sunlight, their choices were deliberate and always on point.

I highly recommend giving this a read if you simply enjoy a beautiful story, no matter if you like BL or not. It's sensible, emotional, dramatic, but oh-so grounded in its determination to find a satisfactory ending.
