Synopsis

One day, I woke up as a noble inside the game I used to play. Unfortunately, the game ends in an apocalypse. With ten years left, I track down the future villains while they’re still kids and decide to raise them myself, hoping that a better childhood could stop them from destroying the world. Now, with criminals dropping like flies, the kingdom thinks I’m the terrifying mastermind pulling all the strings. What on earth is happening? I just wanted to enjoy the sweet noble life!

The misunderstanding trope the MC deals with is peak comedy. 😂

The plot is smart and addictive.

The story is unique and unpredictable.

The art style is cute yet beautiful - fits the story well.

The characters are well-rounded too. The “villain kids” start off cold and broken, each with their own flaws and trauma, but you get to watch them grow, show strength, and develop real personalities. Their reactions feel realistic and emotional, not forced. The MC himself is clever but also hilariously misunderstood by everyone around him.

Overall, this is a must-read for anyone who loves comedy, fantasy, and action. Highly Recommended!

This manhwa is really good and unique. "I Just Wanted a Chill Life" is a good isekai. In the game he used to play, an overworked office worker comes back to life as a minor noble. He finds the future villains when they are still kids and decides to raise them right instead, knowing that they will have a sad ending. It's such a simple yet wholesome, unique premise.

MC is competent but not ridiculously overpowered in the "I planned everything" way, he is just a decent guy whose kind actions get wildly misinterpreted.

MC reincarnates into a dark-fantasy game as a side-character, where the protagonist must defeat 5 great "sins" (villains with tragic flashbacks). He decides to stop the villain arcs, by instead saving them from their tragic circumstances and raising them in an orphanage. Unfortunately, everyone reads too much into his intentions, and think he's a mastermind that will lead them into a bright future.
