So far it's a decent read.
...Granted, some parts of it are a bit meh. From the way I see it, the MC's real challenge is one of morality; will he exploit the elves' trust for his own sake, or will he do the right thing and help them.
But then the story spends too much establishing one challenge after another that the MC easily breezes through. The story also liberally uses SA and exploitation to portray how BAD the villains are, and as much as I understand the usage, it's also a bit lazy.
