Similare plot and structure: heterosexual daddy sees his life transform when his daughter caught a cold; leading a sexy, reliable, yet fragile and loving man into their life. Credible stories, with a slow pace so that the feelings are not forced or rushed. The familial setting (relationship & past) really takes part in the story. Also both have beautiful art, realistic, with manly men.

Both series are about single fathers, their children and their new male partners.

Two strong seme-type guys in a relationship. Do I need to say more?

Both manga begin with a fateful night between adult men- one who is serious and diligent while the other is blasé about casual sex, but end up wanting more. Himegoto asobi is a bit older and follows a mature feeling somewhat realistic storyline, whereas Shinshi to norainu is fluffier and more dramatic

A single father gets to know a gorgeous male in a professional capacity (thanks to his child). While Ookami is a light and cute story, Himegoto is a more realistic setting with believable characters and situations.

Both are mature stories that move forward with a gay man confessing his feelings to his het colleague, where, to his surprise, his confession is accepted and his feelings are reciprocated by the het man.

Both manga feature a rare BL trope - the one where a het man gets sexual with another man just out of sheer curiosity.

Two complete strangers, who would have never know of each other's existence, end up talking to each other because of the sweet child that one of them had from his previous marriage.

A divorced father is introduced to a young man (teacher/doctor), thanks to his child. Expectedly, the two form a bond and eventually end up living with each other.
