Both deal with the resurrection of the dead, both are very dramatic and focus a lot on humanity and philosophical questions.  

Same author, both take place in a historic setting: Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Era Embalming ~ The Another Tale of Frankenstein~: Victorian England Once again, themes of revenge, betrayal, the sake of protecting someone are explored in Embalming, albeit a little differently than Rurouni Kenshin. Because it's by the same author, the battle scenes have the same flow and pacing. 

They are done by the same mangaka but aside that they deal with immortality and the resurrection of the dead. In both, some characters transform into monsters and kill and feed on humans. 

They both deal with bringing the dead to live, with the main characters involved in dramatic deaths in their past and present. 

Placed in a pseudo-historical Victorian period, both deal with the resurrection of the dead and one person with the same abilities than them wanting the destroy them all. They have an important religious and gothic background.
