These mangas have a young guy who starts fighting because of a girl and both show them learning their sports from beginner up and both have girls who are stronger than the main male character but who the guy likes. Full Contact is martial arts and Buyuden is boxing. 

Full Contact and Cat Street both deal with important lifechanging hobbies. While in CS it is manly acting and in FC it is karate, both stories have a bittersweet feel to them and deal with a person growing and getting stronger over time while still including comedy. However the protagonist of CS is a girl and in general the plot is a little bit deeper and more dramatic, while the protagonist in FC is a boy and the whole story is a little bit on the lighter side.In addition to that they dont go as much into detail concerning side characters and there is more focus on fighting than on relationships compared to CS. In total, if you like one you should definitley try out the other- i strongly recommend both! read more

However the protagonist of CS is a girl and discovers that her crush does not like strong girls while in FC a boy starts up karate because he is dumped by his crush who thinks he is not strong enough. Both stories are very similar, but FC rather focuses on training and the stories of sidecharacters of the dojo (a bit mor shounen), while MS manly cocentrates on the relationship of the two maincharacters and is a little more dramatic (a bit more shoujo). In total, if you like one you should definitley try out the other- i strongly recommend both! read more 

Martial arts manga centering on karate - both HanzaSky and Full Contact are shounen mangas of young guys training hard to become stronger and better martial artists. They differ in the art types. Full Contact has cleaner art, while Hanza Sky's art is rough but energetic. Hanza Sky has a delinquent turning to martial arts while Full Contact is more about a guy's growth from starting in the martial arts more traditionally. They are complete but all the translations are done on Full Contact a while ago while Hanza Sky has had lags in translations but started up again.  read more 

In full contact one of the characters reminds me of kyo. They are both cute stories. 

Boy that was once week and against all odds turns out to be a great fighter after practicing over and over to become stronger.  

Both are about a male lead who want to get stronger through Karate, Kohinata Minoru is bit more mature though... 

Boxing and romance, lack of character development on both stories. But still good. 

Both shounen manga have pretty much same concept about weak boy who wants to become stronger and takes up martial arts Whilst HSDK has the boy learn all types of martial arts(jujitsu, karate, muay thai etc.), FC focuses mostly on karate...only difference between the 2 is that HSDK has more ecchi If your into martial arts type manga, you'll like both...
