Anyway this one shot is the manga adaptation of one of the most critically accalimed horror movies of all time (The Ring) and if you have watched the said movie...


Ahem... hello are you still alive?

Anyway this One Shot only has 13 pages and you can tell that they really wanted to spook the readers by ... showing the manga through the perspective of young Sadako, that's why everything from the artwork and the story are distorted and disfigured as if to show fragments of her memories which in this case really gives you goose bumps.

Overall this is a veeeeeerryyyyy spooky One Shot and is definitely not for everyone...

Oh and one last thing, this manga has an evil aura in it...
I'm serious!

Well, being just straight:
The art is actually good for what this thing is aiming for...but...
I don't know, it's just another reading of Sadako's lore, except pretty much every human being looks like a zombie (I understand Sadako, but danm, is really like, EVRYONE). In addition, it's so short, if I didn't knew what Sadako's deal was all about, this manga wouldn't make a lit bit of sense to me. So it's for her fans, right? Don't really know, didn't feel like reading the other Ring's mangas, following bits of the book, instead I don't know if this follows the books or the movies... It looks ... like a prequel to some horror manga, still, the one-shot could, I don't know, Sadako actually haunting someone?
It's ugly, that isn't bad itself, but this is evrything that this one-shot is. It's short, you can read in like, 5 minutes or so (even less I bet).
Don't think is worth though.
