In this story, set in Universal Century 0090, the Federation sends Amuro Ray to recruit Judau Ashta to help deal with a group of Zeon remnants. While this seems routine, the Zeons have uncovered what they call the "Giant God," namely the Ideon (which is never actually called Gigantis nor Ideon within the story). While investigating, Judau learns that the Zeons are planning on using Mineva Lao Zabi's Newtype powers to awaken the Giant God and get their revenge. This manga is non-canon.

Universal Century 0079, Zeon Elementary School fifth grade student Mariko, meets the Red Comet, who is mounted on a white horse that gives magical powers. When the colony falls into crisis, Mariko becomes the beautiful Ensign Blaster Mari, and pilots the Zaku I to defend her home against the Federation's GMs.

Set during the One Year War, it follows the story of young officer 1st Sgt. Brown Chaamin, who is part of the Earth Federation Forces' "Night Hawks" 13th independent shock troops. This force is composed of pseudo-Newtype (reinforced by drug administration) mobile suit pilots, and outfitted with specially modified machines. This unit was formed as part of the V-RX program.
