I wouldn't have ever guessed a series with the title "Molester Man" would actually be a good read. The story follows the titular Molester Man, a college shut in with no IRL friends. After a misunderstanding where he is wrongfully accused of being a stalker is cleared up, he ends up growing closer to the woman who accused him as well as her friends. Although it is a gag manga, the portrayal of his growing relationships with the girls is actually well handled. Despite the seemingly short length of the series, it never feels like the development is rushed, with an appropriate amount of time

A surprisingly engaging high school romance with two of the most unique leads I've ever seen in the genre. The premise of an MC who loves his yandere stalker gf specifically because of her weird tendencies is pretty interesting, and I like the dynamic between Haruka and Kisaski. Moreover, the way that the two begin to change each other as their relationship evolves is pretty neat, and I like how it's not only addressed in universe, but is actually the driving force behind the second half of the story. Although I wouldn't call it a masterpiece by any means, this short series played with novel

A cute romcom with a pretty interesting gimmick. I've seen other series that play with the idea of time traveling to relive your high school days, but I think it's actually particularly well executed here, where the time traveling only applies to the characters' shared dream world. Just judging by its appearance, you might think this is just a fanservice filled harem. And while there are plenty of suggestive and revealing moments, the actual story being told is decently engaging. I genuinely like how the four dreamers use their time in their alternate world to learn to change themselves for the better in the real

Love Is Overkill

An absolutely insane comedy with one of the goofiest gimmicks I've ever seen. S'More, our main girl, is the embodiment of "I can fix him" both literally and physically. After falling in love with a handsome mass murderer who is executed, she brings him back to life and declares him her husband. The best thing about this premise is that the psychotic mass murderer is the straight man in this comedic duo. S'More is delightfully insane and her antics are hilariously ludicrous. It's a pretty short read and obviously isn't supposed to be particularly profound or thought provoking, but it's sheer absurdity got a few

This manga is a pretty standard fluffy romcom, where the gimmick is that the hot popular FMC becomes a flustered mess around the MC. Although it's a cute premise, it kind of forces the leads to interact in limited ways, at least for the first half of the story or so, despite the fact that they begin dating early on. It doesn't ruin the interactions between the two, as it's still neat to watch them grow closer over the course of the story, but it does feel like they aren't properly dating until a good few chapters into the manga. Additionally it feels like it

A very lighthearted romance manga that keeps things simple, without making the story boring. It's always nice to see romance series that are willing to get the main couple together early, allowing most of the story to center around how their relationship grows and evolves rather than playing a game of "will they wont they". The two leads are incredibly cute together, and I really like how, through their continued interactions, they both help to improve each other's lives. While Sugisaki and Ibuki seem to embody the typical tough girl and shy boy archetypes at first, there's more to each of their characterizations to keep

Sei-chan Capacity Over desu!

An average and uncomplicated romance between childhood friends. Although the main couple gets together so fast that there's very little time where we see them as just childhood friends. There is little in the way of actual character development, which especially hurt my investment in the main couple. They start out extremely in love with each other and end extremely in love with each other, and both leads' predominant character trait is being down bad for one another. As such, there's plenty of teasing and intimacy. So much I'd say it's actually overbearing. Making them constantly be all over each other lessens the impact of

An average but cute story with likeable characters that is ultimately brought down by it's conclusion. The story follows a very standard high school romcom plotline, with the MC Nakajima bringing the FMC Tanaka out of her shell as their relationship progresses. Nakajima's characterization as a nice and outgoing guy is nothing particularly unique, but it works for the story being told. Tanaka has a more interesting characterization as a loner due to the frightening aura she puts off, and I like the dynamic the two have with each other. I think the pacing is largely well handled, and it feels like the progression of

Sakurai-san wa Kizuite Hoshii

This is a pretty plain romance story that doesn't really offer the reader any surprises whatsoever, but is slightly charming nonetheless. The most notable thing about the story is the classically dense MC, Mako. There's such a thing as taking a trope to its extreme, and Mako definitely encapsulates that when it comes to his denseness. Sakurai does everything in her power to "hint" to Mako her feelings but he cannot seem to pick up on anything, which would generally be par for the course for this kind of story. However Sakurai's "hints" include offering him multiple indirect kisses, biting his ear, aggressively holding his

I went into this without any real expectations and was pleasantly surprised to find how much I enjoyed this manga. Firstly, I really like the inversion of the childhood friend got hot trope. Instead, our MC Touma returns to find his childhood friend Kyouko is, as the title would imply, broken and in a bad place in her life. Watching Kyouko slowly come out of her shell again as a result of Touma's support is really cool and surprisingly wholesome given the character design. Speaking of which, the manga is somewhat spicy, but handles its suggestive moments really well in my opinion. The story never
