Mob Psycho 100

Mob psycho 100 and Flcl both shows are parodies of there respective genres. Mob psycho is a parody of the usual story lines with overpowered character in a supernatural world. Basically a shounan but other then sticking to the script of well "power is everything". Mob psycho flips the script and shows its main character detest his powers and find a way to live normally along with his humanely desire for personal growth. Mob psycho 100 is also visually unique and its energy just as high. Flcl is a parody of the sci-fi genre, and it barely takes itself seriously. Nothing makes sense and its pure chaos. Flcl also deals with themes of personal growth, adolescence, deception, and emotional confusion.... yeah dont take me seriously i am spewing bullshit. Both shows are extremely fun, one has extensive character growth , the other is absurd and has hidden layers to its seemingly chaotic script. Also the music also have a same vibe.

Watching Rock Lady reminded me a lot of Girls Band Cry, partially because of the anime style, which blends both 3D and 2D animation. Both shows feature rock music, and it's spot-on in each case. They also share the theme of characters dealing with personal struggles—using music as a form of escapism, a way to forget their worries and anxieties, or as a tool for self-discovery. Both series follow a similar progression: the characters encounter music as a catalyst for change, they form a band, and set a goal. They’re underdogs in every sense. Rock Lady does include some kinky elements here and there. While I find Girls Band Cry more emotionally rewarding, Rock Lady was still really enjoyable.
