I am an Anime Enjoyer, and I used to watch anime less back then. I can't say the same for now. After a whole ordeal pertaining to someone, I decided to drown all my sorrows with anime. (best decision of my life for real)

Initially I hated Anime but growing up, realized that it isn't that bad. I started watching Anime around 2022 watching Oshi no Ko as my first anime. I still usually follow main stream media on my Plan to Watch, nothing changed about that.

As for genres. I typically enjoy: Romance/tic Subtext, Drama, Comedy and Supernatural.
As for literature, I prefer Light Novels over Manga.

As a fun little game I do every time I watch a new RomCom/Romance in general is just trying not to cringe/complain and see how far I go into the show without cringing/complaining.

Also this profile is just mainly made for me to track all the stuff I watch or read. Kudos to you if you even find this profile, I don't even talk in threads, comments, etc.

Status: Burnt out, taking a break from watching anime for now. Active reading all different types of cringe mangas and actively reading Eighty-Six

My (Subjective) Rating Guide:
10 - Exceeded Expectations and Amazing. Anime of the Year potential and very subjective.
Note for 10/10: There is a reason why there isn't an anime above 9.5* (typically rounded up to 10). No anime is truly a masterpiece and is up to you, the watcher, to determine to themselves AND NOT FOR OTHERS if something is a masterpiece. (An echo chamber every 0.1 seconds about how “(x) is a masterpiece!!!” is starting to get pretty annoying for me. It's fine to say an anime you like is a masterpiece but please don't shove it down people's throats and ears forcefully. It genuinely ruins expectations from time to time. That is how Violet Evergarden was ruined for me.)
9 - Anime of the season potential, Recommended to watch.
8 - Seasonal Gem, Recommended to Bookmark.
7 - Decent, Great to pass the time.
6 - Fine, an okay choice to pass the time.
5 - Mid, not what I expected, could've been better
4 and below - Avoid like its Covid-19.

My ratings are based on enjoyability and execution of plot more than anything. Music, OP/ED songs, Plot, MCs, Side Characters, Development/Execution of Plot, Enjoyability/Engaging,

Out of all of these factors. Enjoyability > Side Characters > MCs > Development/Execution of Plot > Music > Plot in order from most to least I care about when I give something a rating.

Note: Some animes have lower scores because their source material is typically better imo. ex: Too Many Losing Heroines, A Silent Voice, The Tunnel to Summer The Exit of Goodbyes, etc.
