Meh! Compared to the main series, this prequel was painfully mediocre. Even if you're an avid AOT fan, this might not be for you—there are no twists or revelations that’ll blow your mind, mainly because it’s a prequel.
The only thing this one has going for it is the history of the Survey Corps and their evolution: the origins of the ODM gear, the first expeditions, life inside the walls, the internal politics of the people living there, and a few more regions that were never mentioned in the main series due to its focus on the bigger picture.
Character designs are fine, but that distinct Isayama
...
line-art style is absent since he’s not the writer or artist here. The character development is weak—people who were supposed to be feral suddenly get “healed” because of a beautiful waifu; a mentally broken soldier gets “fixed” thanks to the same waifu and her preaching; even the ODM gear was finalized after her monologue. Somehow, the waifu who couldn’t fight well becomes a commander. All of this feels overly optimistic compared to Isayama’s tone. Because of that, there are no shocking deaths or mind-bending scenes. You could call it *AOT for the weak-hearted*, since only unimportant, forgettable characters die.
In my humble opinion, skip this one. It’s not worth the read. The art is decent, but the high standard set by the main series curses this prequel. Plus, nothing in its plot is really essential to the main story anyway.

Season 1 of this anime is one of my favorite anime of all time, but the second season? NOT EVEN CLOSE TO IT!
It's soo disappointing to see an anime I enjoyed turned into something totally different. First one was straight up power fantasy with some comedy in it, but this one is more like slice of anime with lots meta jokes like 3d cgi, an quick lesson on making a 2d anime, IT'S TOO DIFFERENT FROM SEASON 1.
First 4 episodes were decent and had something akin to season 1, highschool life, students doing their shenanigans and what not, later episodes turn into something totally
...
random. One episode you are in woods, other episode you are in some kind of reality show, etc. The season finale was also lack luster, they fininshed the villian with such a rushed ending alongside shoehorning a new character introduction which in itself felt half baked.
This season felt like the show ran out of source material and doing their own stuff without proper structure, almost all episodes are episodic in nature and had no consequences to main plot unlike previous season, It had an ending that was way too memorable and was very satisfying, here we got an half baked ending.
I had high hopes for season 2 but it crash and burned every quickly, I don't know whether I want to watch the upcoming 3rd season or not.
The OP was good but not as good as season 1 but still good enough and ED was forgettable. 2d anime seemed to be nice as always, 3d cgi bits were also decent. If you're looking for the same OP emo boy trying to hide his identity? FORGET IT!
Overall 5/10 ( It would've been a 6, if it's previous season didn't left me a huge impression in my mind, So one additional point subtracted for letting me down with such a mediocre follow up )

What a complete shitshow!
Hypocrisy at its finest!
Someone who grew up in a loving family lecturing others—whose parents were awful to them—about how “precious” family is.
Someone who’s never lost anyone dear preaching that “no one has the right to take a life,” yet would probably kill without hesitation if the same tragedy happened to them.
Vash is the ultimate symbol of hypocrisy—someone who’d rather let a spider die a slow, painful death by starvation than grant it a quick, merciful one. He’s the real monster here. He’s destroyed countless towns, and who knows how many actually escaped alive? How many people lost everything in an instant, their
...
lives turned into hell because of his so-called “unintentional” actions? How many died indirectly because of him?
At least Knives wouldn’t let the weak suffer pathetically—he’d give them a swift death instead of letting them endure endless misery.
Screw this show!
How does this garbage even end up on so many “must-watch” lists!?
I seriously don’t recommend anyone watch this overrated mess. Instead of enjoyment, all I felt was my blood boiling—especially during the last six episodes.

Sonny boy is an anime that is very much similar to abstract art.
No one understands what's happening but they still held it as a Masterpiece to look cool, I guess? Or to look like a very intelligent individual who ascended from being a weeb to a real man ( or woman ). Hell! They don't even know why this anime is called Sonny boy in the first place. All they know is they saw weird effects and their brain goes ' hey random shapes and colours are changing and moving and my brain goes vroom! '
If you are an ordinary weeb who is just a
...
horny, isekai trash loving and waifu boy please do not waste your time with it. It'll just waste your time. As there is no visible plot that you can grasp easily.
But if you are a person who likes to discuss the theory about obscure games that didn't even have a plot in the first place and assumes that developer is some kind of wizard in storytelling ( But in actuality even developers have no idea where this absurd theory came from ), then this anime is right in your alley, you can enjoy theorizing what the hell is going on in the anime because even after completing the run time, the godammn show won't explain anything to you. But it is very interesting to read the wild theories that anime fan comes up with.
The art style is Unique. There is no OP but there is a good ED without any visuals similar to a movie end credits.

Quanzhi fashi, the chinese power fantasy anime I used to like.
However season 5 of this anime had nothing that I liked about the series. No levelling up done by Mo Fan , No more highschool Drama/fights (similar to season 2) , No more underdog feeling. Instead they decided to adapt the most boring 'Bad boy snake dragon Arc' ( I forgot the actual name). The entirety of the plot from the end of episode 3 to 11 was surrounding by this and it was booring. Its kinda like season 2 but on steroids (in a negative way) . Atleast season 2 was essential for the
...
progression of the plot but here it meant nothing , NADA! Not even a level up by Mo Fan. First 3 episodes and the last episode were the only ones I really enjoyed. All others were chore to watch through. Mo Fan's arrogance level got bumped up , making me hate him. He never used to pick up fights with anyone for the sake of it but here he's all about showing off. The character development part of this particular anime series were always poor , but in this season there is NONE.
The fact that the studio decided to adapt this arc was purely idiotic. Why adapt a filler arc which consists of 85% of the season which doesnt even progress the overall plot at all. It's not like they ran out of source material or anything, In fact the anime is SOO FAR BEHIND the Light novel that it seemed like a stupid decision to even cover this arc at all.
To anyone who's getting bored by this season, I recommend you to watch first three episodes and skip everything except the last episode.
The OP & ED of this season were not great.
The animation seemed to get better and better by each passing seaaon.

From the author that gave us 'Cautious Hero' a genuinely funny isekai anime graces us with an another isekai that is supposed to be 'funny' called 'Full DIve',I said supposed to be 'funny' because I dont find MC getting bullied and abused 'Funny' , I felt more of pity towards him rather than finding it funny.
I genuinely enjoyed Cautious hero and therefore was excepting another good isekai from the author but all my hope was lost after first few episodes , which only consists of main character getting shit all the time , just like the name suggested. And I didnt enjoy a single minute
...
of it.
All characters in this anime are godawful, and it is physically painfull to watch them except for one reasonable character i like but at the final episode for no reason he becomes an asshole and antagonist for no reason other than some terribly explained and forced reason he author decided to pull out of his ass.
Last few episodes were fine but the majority of episodes were terrible . if you are a masochist who like all pain and reward at the end , then fine . watch this.
If you are a normal viewer looking for a comedy anime , then chief it aint is!

From the Author that gave us 'Konosuba' comes another comedy isekai anime 'Combatants will be Dispatched!'.In terms of quality Konosuba is far superior than this one. Some episodes were good while some were painfully mediocre.
Our MC Agent 6 with his android partner Alice was send as spy to scout an another planet under the 'order' from his superiors in 'Kusaragi Corporation', while scouting they find the existence of demon lord threatening to disrupt their plan of conquering the planet. To prevent Demon lords advancement, our MC teams up with the Kingdom to support the war against the demon lord. The whole plot can be
...
summarized with this paragraph.
If you are looking for story driven anime , then this is not it. Its just like Konosuba, Plot doesnt advance that much . But if you liked the misadventures of Kazuya , then you may enjoy watching this anime too. Since it is also about the misadventures of agent 6 and Alice. This anime throws out a lot of Konosuba references, if you watched konosuba first (If not already) you may get a laugh out of these references.
While sometimes this anime's comedy is on point other times they dont unlike Konosuba. 2 or 3 episodes in this anime were downright boring but the episodes where agent 6 shows the power of 'Science ' and his badassery was EPIC!! Every cast members in this anime where enjoyable, none where bland or boring except for Grimm.
(What was the point of her?? I dont know....)
In a word some may call this a breed between Konosuba and Overlord. I do not agree with that. Atleast the anime hasnt gotten any darker like Overlord . It is very similar to Konosuba, in terms of the comedy. If you liked Konosuba, then youll most probably enjoy this anime. If you didn't like Konosuba, then stay away from this one.

After watching season 1 last year which I enjoyed very much, I was satisfied with the show. I never in my dreams thought that this anime would receive a season second, since most of these kinds of anime are just a glorified advertisement of their source material. But to my surprise a second season was announced and I was eager to watch the second season. And I have to say, that season 2 was decent (Some episodes were amazing while some boring). Main problem with this season is its getting repetitive. Apart from equipment upgrades and party upgrades, i felt like this season was a
...
giant filler arc or something. Overall plot did not progress at all. This was the same feeling , I got watching after SAO 2.A giant filler season , just to introduce some characters and plot so minuscule to the grand scheme of things which can be easily skipped.
This season had a slight change in artstyle, but it's not that much noticeable unless you watch the first season again.
Ecchi in this season , also seemed to turned down. Maybe its because there was only 10 episodes to conclude this arc. Unless the story gets interesting, I would probably drop the third season of this anime (If third season even comes out , most probably not) since its getting repetitive.I also dont get Diablo at all. He already saw Rem and Shira naked a billion times , why is he still flustered about it??
I hope Author makes the story interesting again in an upcoming season.
If you liked season 1 of this show , then you'll probably enjoy this one too.

Atrocious pacing—13 minutes per episode is way too short.
The comedy isn’t funny at all; it’s downright cringe-worthy. The anime is full of illogical moments—characters appear out of nowhere, new power-ups are introduced without explanation, and plot armor runs rampant. Overall, it’s a complete disaster.
The show introduces a character, builds them up as a major villain, and then defeats them in the very next episode. Character development is practically nonexistent—people switch sides far too easily.
Everyone except the main character feels irrelevant. No one questions the protagonist’s absurd level of power; they just accept it without a second thought. And the main antagonist? By the end, he
...
contradicts himself so badly it’s embarrassing to watch.
Skip this one, even if you enjoy power fantasy anime. Instead, check out The Daily Life of the Immortal King—a far better Chinese power fantasy series.

This started out as my kind of anime—a high-school harem with an overpowered protagonist—but as the story went on, it turned into some kind of Matrix-style nonsense. Suddenly, weird terms like “principle of identity” are thrown around with zero explanation, leaving the viewer completely lost.
And that ending… what the hell was that?! I still don’t understand it!
They should’ve waited for the source material instead of rushing out this ridiculous original ending that makes absolutely no sense.
There are plenty of better anime in this genre—do yourself a favor and skip this one. Watch something like High School DxD instead.
