So I've watched and rewatched Hyouka 1 or 2 times and I thought why not write a reviewabout it
Hyouka follows the protagonist Houtarou Oreki , a lazy highschooler who just tries to conserve his energy as much as possible even in his facial expressions , gets dragged into solving the mystery around him and his school alongside his friends . The slow pace of the show gave time to reflects on itself and was like the personality of the protagonist . The show was quite unique and contained fascination in the mundane .
I was actually quite surprised that some people didn't liked the anime
...
and called it a sleeping pill . I mean I know that every people has their own interests and ways of perceiving it but I don't think that you didn't liked it means that it's boring.
But for people who says that it didn't have a great ending ,...well yeah they're not fully wrong but it isn't the show's fault itself. I mean the anime didn't even adapted the manga entirely let alone the light novel . And we'll never get the 2nd season because of the KyoAni arson that led to the death of many major cast of the show.
But the ending was also quite deep if you tried to understand . At the the end Oreki started showing development as when he was holding the umbrella for Chitanda you could see that he wasn't like himself . He showed curiosity for him and Eru. and also there was more to it but I don't think I should type much , so I guess I'll just drop my rating
(And to be clear I review based on how much I liked it and enjoyed it so please do not start calculating the averages)
