This was such a gem to watch. Highly recommend it to those who enjoy genres like mysteries, slice of life, action and a good storyline.
Throughout the whole 11+1 OVA episodes, it was enjoyable and exciting, often times making you look forward to the next episode. Some parts are very heart-wrenching and others are very heart-warming. Despite us not knowing too much about the 3 main characters other than Cheng Xiao Shi's background/history, it feels like there's still a connection and affection as the characters are all very likable (the good people at least).

If you don't mind light-hearted comedy this will be great. The plot is extremely non-existent in this series until about the last 2-3 episodes which is such a shame as the manhua is so much more plot-forward and there's so much to explore. The manhua is actually super interesting and I'm so confused why the production company chose to ignore all the potentially amazing portions to animate.
If you are watching the anime after reading the manhua you're going to be sorely disappointed. If you're reading the manhua after watching the anime, you're in for a really pleasant surprise. Personally I still enjoyed the anime ... |
