While both of these anime are quite different, I think the relationships between the leads have a similar feel. Production values in both are fantastic and both are just simple fun with a little bit of an emotional side.

If you liked The iDOLM@STER add

...then you might like Love Live! School Idol Project add

iDOLM@STER and Love Live! share a lot of similarities. Girls form idol groups and work to better themselves and their respective bands. However, iDOLM@STER has a far more fleshed out plot and rather developed characters. The idol sequences also don't kill your brain like they do in Love Live!. It's the same idea, only better.

...then you might like UFO Princess Valkyrie add

Silly fan-service anime about aliens coming to earth and falling in love with random humans. Valkyrie is a little more on the humor side like DearS is a little on the uh, ecci side.

If you liked Armitage III add

...then you might like AD Police add

Similar cyberpunk setting with plots revolving around machines and humanity. They share much of the same overall feel.

If you liked Overlord add

...then you might like Goblin Slayer add

Both series have that DND feel and take place in a classic fantasy setting. Both have decent amounts of action and solid characters. Overlord is a bit darker than most fantasy anime and fits well alongside Goblin Slayer.

If you liked Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu add

...then you might like Tokyo Ghoul √A add

Both series feature man no longer being at the top of the food chain. A human becomes one of the predators, accepts their status and overcomes great loss to become a more mature being. Many of the characters are quite similar as well.
