After getting this series recommended to me by multiple friends, I decided to see what all the hype was about this series. Unfortunately, I found that this show took a SUPER super long time to get good, I'd say it finally started to get somewhat interesting around the 17th episode, but I stuck it out because I reasoned that it wasn't too long. To be fair, the ending of the show was really redeeming and pretty good. I will give a small breakdown on how I thought the show performed in each category:
Story (6)- It was a unique story for sure, and I was impressed
...
on how well thought out the plot was for an anime original show. However, there were far too many "convenient" plot devices that allowed to move the story forward, in a way that did not seem well planned. For example, "Secret Weapons" become incredibly easy to predict in this show.
Art (7)- Pretty decent art, I was quite the fan of it even though it wasn't anything special like on the levels of WIT or Ufotable.
Sound (6)- Usually I give sound a high score for most animes due to their unique sfx and osts that were used, but this one is quite lower. If it wasn't for the Sawano tracks such as Gravity Wall, I probably would've labeled this category as a 3. This is because most of the tracks are continuously repeated along with the sfx, and I've heard the sfx tracks from other media, so they weren't anything new.
Character (3)- Oh boy, this one is a yikes. To be fair, it had to be extremely hard to make a good amount of nice, well-rounded characters in the show with such little time for the plot to develop. I am a huge fan of Altair's character design though, it is very nice.
Enjoyment (6)- As a said in the first paragraph, it was an alright show. I was bored for most of it, but it redeemed itself quite a bit at the end.
Overall- 7

There are spoilers in this review.
Honestly I thought this was a decent anime... up until about episode 9. I finished the first season not too long ago, and I found it rather mediocre. I was still a bit curious about how the story would progress however, so I started this season and finished it. My rating of a 4/10 of this anime is really based on my enjoyment of noragami aragoto and how I thought the story went. One thing I had a problem with was the recurring patterns in season 2 that seemed to be too similar to season 1 for my liking.
...
For example, how the end of each season became an "Oh no we have to save Yato" ordeal, and somehow Yato and Yukine seemed to have the same cooperation problems still even though season 1 looked like it resolved them? This repetitiveness made me feel like I was watching a different route of the show, seriously lmao. I also had a problem towards the end of the show dealing with the Underworld. It feels weird just having all of this new stuff being brought up casually out of nowhere in Season 2 as if there was reference of them to season 1, like the God Colloquy, the Underworld, and the Heaven Punishers. Oh, and the fact that the only way to save Yato was for a person from the Near Shore to call out his name? Man what are the chances. Also, I'm pretty sure the fact about Hiyori's request was brought up once, in the beginning of this season, which kind of confuses me because it was one of the whole focuses of Season 1 but I could also understand that, in a way. This may seem like a lot of rambling, but I actually thought the show was pretty enjoyable in the beginning, until it became too predictable (excluding the random events like the Colloquy).

I don't really write reviews at all, but I wanted to share my thoughts on this anime that has an average score of which I am surprised about. Instead of trying to use twenty paragraphs of high vocabulary words by referencing a thesaurus to make completely senseless reviews like some people, I am just going to put my thoughts into a Pros/Cons list.
Pros:
-The artwork is awesome, I am actually quite fond of it, even though it is kind of similar to lots of other anime.
Cons:
-The story seemed enticing at first, but literally the "Hero" (who was the protagonist's goal to kill) was basically not
...
even mentioned until episode 10 or 11 after being brought up as his assigned task by the Goddess in episode 1.
-What filled in this gap in the story? Yep, fan service. It is true that along his journey, Lugh (main character) did make some "progressions" by acquainting 3 girls to help him fulfill his goal. But by acquainting, I meant an extremely unnecessary amount of fan service that made me wince at every moment. I mean seriously, there was no time in the show that went about 6 or 7 minutes without cringey fan service.
-What in the world was the magic system. In the beginning, this strange card system was introduced for Lugh to select his abilities. These abilities were supposed to play a large part in the show, but I feel like their presence was greatly overlooked when the story was made. His selected cards are mentioned briefly in battles in the anime, but rarely discussed. Oh yeah, and uh apparently the main character has literally everything in the world memorized, included average atomic weights of elements, which is also funny because the world seems to have many luxuries except gold, titanium, etc. It is also funny how the spells that were cast are literally just the japanese words backwards.
I could go on, but after struggling through 10 episodes to see some improvement, I think that pretty much sums up what I think. Of course, there are definitely some cool aspects in the show that I probably missed, but in the end, I would give this show a 2.

This anime gets way too much hate, especially for the amount of episodes released so far. I have a feeling that those who will drop it early on will miss out.
No Spoilers in this review: This is my first time doing a review for an anime, but I feel like I need to say what needs to be said about this anime. I will not write a synopsis, because that's the job of the description of the anime, so I am solely writing about how I feel about this anime. At the time of this review only 5 episodes have aired, so there is yet
...
much more content to release. However, I wanted to write this review to emphasize how great this anime already is in the span of only 5 episodes. To start off, the art is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Animated by MADHOUSE and MAPPA, the animation is incredibly stunning, even rivaling that of Ufotable's, I dare say. Second, the OSTs and SFX are also great, which is extremely important in the music-themed genre of anime it rests within. As for the characters, they are very interesting themselves and have unique designs, although some more about Takt and Destiny's personalities will hopefully develop throughout the remaining episodes. Finally, the story. Since only 5 episodes have been released so far, it's obvious that I cannot give an opinion on the entire story. However, I feel like this anime could likely create an amazing story at the rate it is progressing. Overall, I am expecting Takt Op. Destiny to turn out to be a 9/10 or even a 10/10 for me, basing off of how much I am enjoying this so far.
