well, school days was not a very spectacular anime by any means.
it did although, introduce what is now known as the epitome of a "nice boat"
which means, at the end at least, some very nice scenes >_>
story was not very special, just a classic high school romance, although a very twisted one, and maybe even very realistic.
the characters are all portrayed nicely, although some are very unlikable
the development of each as the story progresses make this show a very interesting one, one leaving you on the edges of your seat most of the way through
sound was good, not EPIC, but not shabby either
...

Ah Kanon.....
well, this series was the one that got me into romance animes and showed me kyoto animation team, and boy, it is awesome The story was top notch, maybe slightly predictable in a few places, but overall had you on the edge of your seat through out the show. Also, a major tearjerker in many parts; this was the closest ive ever come to crying watching TV :). The art was amazing. Quality is typical Kyoto Animation, which is perfect. There are almost no noticeable lapses in quality. Sound is where it was a little weaker. Not bad, but could have been much more dramatic at times. ... |
