This movie was incredibly emotional! Sakuta's character truly flourished in this movie, revealing a genuine human side to him. One of the greatest moments in the film is a challenge in which he struggles to decide whether to save Makinohara or live and be with Mai. This scene perfectly captures his inner conflict and growth, making me love his character even more after the show.

On top of that, the film’s music and animation beautifully capture its emotional peaks. I can't lie, I almost cried multiple times during this movie, but still, the movie had a few things missing to execute that. The movie ... wasn't perfect, it felt rushed, especially by the ending, and the music didn't have enough emotional buildup to land as powerfully as they could have. Despite that, the story's theme of love, grief, and sacrifice wraps up the movie's message of what it means to care for someone.

Overall, this is an amazingly well-written story with an amazing cast of characters and a well-thought-out ending. I'd give it an 8.5/10. :)

This anime turned out to be surprisingly enjoyable. I first came across the memes back in 2018, when I was still new to anime, but I avoided it at the time because it was known for the fan service. Watching it now, I genuinely enjoyed both the ecchi and gore elements. The dub also added an unexpected layer of comedy; sometimes it was so bad in serious scenes that I couldn’t help but laugh.

My main criticism is the excessive fan service and the lack of real story progression. That said, once you get past the infamous episode 6, you’re practically immune to it. The show ... itself is pretty simple, it’s not trying to be deep or well written. It’s just stupidly enjoyable, a bada$$ action anime with over-the-top fan service.

Overall, I’d give it a 7/10. It could’ve been higher if a second season existed. ;D

Horimiya: The Missing Pieces was a great experience. While this season wasn't as great as the first one, it was meant to fill in the gaps that the first season failed to do. They put aside the romance elements in the story to focus on the comedy and slice of life aspect.

One thing this series does better than most romance anime or anime in general is the group dynamics. The characters in this show feel like real people with everyday struggles, which makes them relatable at times.

overall, I'd give this season an 8/10. I had a bunch of fun watching this show. It had no ... fan service, it's actually hilarious, and the characters have a genuine relationship. It doesn't waste time on things like misunderstandings or drama. For me, I believe this is what romcom anime should be.

This show was amazing! Definitely my second favorite romcom so far. I love that it’s fast paced and gives attention to the side characters stories and relationships. The reason I love this Romance anime more than others is that it doesn’t drag out the main couple’s relationship. I believe they officially started dating halfway through the show, which is refreshing. On top of that, the story also adds in two other relationships(I think), adding even more depth between them. It’s sad that it’s only 13 episodes, but honestly, the ending is perfect.

What really stood out for me was the last few episodes, where Miyamura confronts ... his past. He learns to move forward while being grateful for how his life turned out. I relate to his character a lot and in the middle of trying to change. Especially since I’m around the same age as he was at the start of the series.

In the end, I loved this anime. I laughed at so many scenes, and during others, I was either anxious about what would happen next or kicking my feet at the lovely and wholesome moments. Overall, I give this anime a 10/10 :D

Your Lie in April tells the story of Arima Kousei, a young piano prodigy who loses his ability to play after the trauma of his mother's death. His life begins to change when he meets Kaori, a free-spirited violinist who helps him rediscover his passion for music. The show explores heavy themes like trauma, grief, and learning to move on from loss.

I came into this anime with high expectations everyone talked about it like it was a life changing masterpiece. And while I loved the soundtrack, the characters, and the emotional moments, I personally felt let down. The ending felt rushed and a bit confusing. ... The first 10–12 episodes started off slow but was promising. However, halfway through, the pacing felt off and one of the characters illness—while foreshadowed—came across as forced. It didn’t feel like the show wrapped everything up well, and it left me feeling a bit unsatisfied.

In my opinion, Your Lie in April isn’t a masterpiece, but it’s still a good watch. I didn’t cry like many others did, but I’d still recommend it, especially for the music, it carried hard.
