Let's see, people get so worked up over nothing. Complaints about the animation quality, the fact that they didn't adapt a certain frame, the use of static images, the manga being better written and drawn, etc., etc...
You have every right to want a well-adapted work, especially since the first and second seasons had different levels of quality, BUT it's not the worst garbage in the world. You and I have seen worse animation. For example, in recent seasons, what happened to WannaDance? That 3D is cringeworthy, and it wasn't demonized as much as One Punch Man...
On the other hand, I mean,
...
come on, we're talking about One Punch Man. The fact that the manga has such good artwork is thanks to the fact that a chapter is published every 15 to 22 days and that the artist loves the work, but why don't you criticize the webcomic? That drawing is of "low quality".
What I'm getting at is... if a story is good, the animation is secondary. High Score Girl, Id:Invaded, Seikaisuru Kado, Piano no Mori, to name a few, are anime with not-so-great animation but with fantastic stories that are totally worth watching.
So what's the problem then? That One Punch Man isn't a good work overall. It's just heroes punching each other against supposedly increasingly stronger monsters, where no matter what happens, nothing matters because our protagonist is One Punch Man. He's going to defeat everyone with a single punch anyway. It doesn't have a good story, so you can't expect good animation. As a studio, I'm not going to invest much in an anime that wastes animation on heartless battles because that's what One Punch Man is: just fights for the love of fighting, without an important story, dramatic backstories, or noteworthy comedy. It's explosions of colors and ridiculous techniques, each one more "impressive" than the last, but regardless of everything, in the end, it all goes to... Solving it with a simple "One Punch Man"
It's the same joke repeated over and over. This anime should have ended in the first season because it stopped having anything new to say; it just keeps repeating itself.
SO, to summarize and end this, you can't expect much from a story that can't offer any more. The internet is upset because the only thing this anime can offer is animation in the fights, and it's not delivering that, but it's pointless. You should be content with watching a decently animated series (because if it's decent, it could be much worse) that isn't all that great... It's what happened with the Invincible series, only they took it in stride and understood that they do all that because of a low budget to deliver something passable.
I do recommend it for fans of ONE's work (and to contradict the hundreds of sheep who hate anime just because the internet says it has bad animation). If you're looking for high-budget animation, go somewhere else. Anyway, the story doesn't have much to offer, and judging it as a general anime without comparisons, it's average and doesn't offer anything special, but that's been known since season 1.

you know? I've complained a lot, saying that this series is afraid of success, that it makes its characters too kind to others, too naive to notice what's happening right in front of them, and too ridiculous to do things that don't fit in the Cold War world they're supposedly in... but with this season, I think I realized something: this anime does it this way on purpose.
What I mean is that it's supposed to be a world where war is just around the corner, and you realize why: the problems in this anime are real—orphans having to enlist in the
...
army, shootings in a park, the hijacking of several school buses, information wars, and assassins pulling the strings from the shadows. But everything ends up being resolved, and within those catastrophic events, there's laughter, there's hope, there are people trying to do the best they can within their means to get ahead...
It's a story that isn't afraid of success; it would be very easy to plunge everything into chaos, into war, kill Loid, have Yor arrive covered in blood, or give Anya unbearable trauma. BUT, it doesn't. Instead, it goes for a more rosy approach, telling the story that with effort, hope, and a little magic, everything can turn out alright, even a war...
I mean, that doesn't make it the best anime in the world, it just makes the reasons behind things a little more palatable and helps you enjoy watching it more, even knowing that at the end of the day it will be the same silly jokes and that it's just an anime that shows you tenderness and happiness despite its world being the complete opposite...

Hmm, I have very mixed feelings about this anime, so I'm going to break it down into points to clarify my thoughts as I write.
The good:
- A well-rounded story that finishes what it sets out to tell.
- Characters who are, to a certain extent, somewhat human, who make mistakes and sometimes act impulsively.
- Secondary characters who actually contribute to the plot and aren't just there as filler.
The bad:
- Aside from the fanservice, which is normal in these anime, all the female protagonists are somewhat promiscuous. They practically throw themselves at the protagonist sexually throughout the entire anime (which makes it awkward
...
since it's a romance anime).
- The initial relationship with the spoiled sister who wants to possess her brother, causing the protagonist trauma and insecurity, is dropped from one episode to the next without clear justification (discarding an interesting plot point).
-The third girl, the pink-haired one, is completely unnecessary. Her presence in the series is pointless; she's like that DLC you download for a visual novel—she's just there, but she has absolutely no bearing on the main story. The relationship they share isn't strong, and she disappears as if she were never there.
-Only the blonde protagonist had a reason to be more in love with the male lead because of their childhood history, but the other two fell in love for no reason at all...
In short, the soundtrack and animation aren't bad; the anime is acceptable, a romance story with some stumbles and the characters trying to improve. BUT the fan service and sexual comments throughout the series make it uncomfortable. Furthermore, the various themes introduced at the beginning have no impact, importance, or follow-up, which unnecessarily makes the story longer than it needs to be.
I think that by removing fan service and reducing the length to 12 episodes, along with cutting out the pink-haired girl, the sister's initial toxic relationship, and the constant references to having sex with the protagonist, the anime would have been much better... so... I don't recommend it, but if it catches your attention, it's not something to watch at home near your partner or parents because of the constant scenes that are difficult to explain. However, it's not all bad, and it has the positive side of finishing and tying up all the loose ends in these 26 episodes.

I'm someone who loves Christmas more than you can imagine. I count down the days from December 26th, and I love the celebration for everything surrounding it: the atmosphere, the way people behave, the streets, the lights, and that time of giving, sharing, gratitude, and relaxing with loved ones and even those not so loved.
When I heard about the anime Sanda, where the central theme is Santa Claus and Christmas in a society where that celebration has disappeared, it really caught my attention.
Then you realize it's by the same author as Furrystars, and the story becomes infinitely stranger than you initially
...
imagined.
I mean, if you've ever seen Beastars, you know this author likes broken worlds, bizarre stories, and eccentric things, and that's exactly what Sanda is.
Which isn't a bad thing at all. In today's industry, full of isekai and cliché romances, bizarre offerings are very welcome.
The bad thing, and the VERY bad thing, is that just like FurryStars, the stories and the world are so vast and the storytelling is so deliberate that it's impossible to adapt it into just 12 episodes. So, to judge the complete work, it would need to be finished, but FurryStars hasn't ended after all these years, so Sanda doesn't have much hope.
Focusing on this first season, a lot happens; nothing is entirely rosy. The characters have their traumas and problems and move forward as best they can. The world doesn't help them, and the story only tells you enough to give you a partial understanding of what's happening. Little by little, more of the world is revealed, and you understand the reasons behind some things, but you never stop feeling that something doesn't quite fit or that the world has its many flaws.
The Christmas theme is just a bit of an excuse to do fantastical things with an inexperienced Santa who doesn't know how to bring the joy of Christmas to the hearts of the friends he's trying to help. But if you came here (like me) for Christmas, you'll be a little disappointed that it's the least explored theme, haha.
And that's about it. I can't really judge the series completely without seeing the ending, but as it stands, it looks promising. It's nice when something out of the ordinary is animated, with pretty good animation quality, a soundtrack that doesn't get old, and a story worthy of the creator of the furry standard (that is, a bizarre psychological story with some pretty risqué themes) :v

I watched it because I needed an extra anime to watch on the bus after work... and it does the job because it's not awkward to watch in public, but it's a story we've seen countless times in other anime with nothing special about it...
It's the same old Japanese romance story with nonexistent personalities; in this case, the guy is completely socially and spatially awkward, and the girl is absent-minded and, for some reason, falls in love with him, but her way of processing things is totally unnatural...
And that's pretty much it. It's a cozy series that, if you like the
...
genre and have seen this same pattern a thousand times and still enjoy it, you'll like it, but if you're already fed up with it, well, it'll just be another one of the bunch.

An original, short, self-contained story with different approaches is always welcome. It's nice to break out of the routine and watch this kind of unusual anime.
Strengths:
- It's self-contained.
- The plot twists are very interesting (slightly predictable, but interesting).
- It doesn't have a completely happy ending.
- The backstory is very good.
- The animation is good.
...
- The villains are mostly ordinary people with problems, trying to solve them with whatever they have.
On the downside:
-They waste too much time on side quests that add very little to the story or character development.
-The final villain, initially super intelligent and strategic, ends up fighting an immortal android with a flimsy little pistol.
-The epilogue is too short.
-And my biggest complaint is that it's a "Woke" story, as kids say nowadays. Basically, it's a story about a boy who, through time, falls in love with the same person and gradually awakens and becomes a better person by realizing that polyamory (which is what's used in the timeline where the story takes place) is okay and the right thing to do. So it's like, "Ugh, everything they told me was just to justify the harem that's forming."
BUT putting aside the fact that everything that happened was just to conclude with "responsible polyamory," the story of that post-apocalyptic world is interesting. It has its big plot holes, but they don't ruin the whole thing. I recommend it because it's a different kind of story, one that concludes in just 12 episodes, and because I liked the world and the backstory (although I don't really recommend it much; there are a thousand and one anime I'd recommend before this one).

Slice-of-life stories with nods to video games... and that's it... nothing particularly noteworthy. The romance isn't anything special, the problems are pretty average, the animation isn't anything special either (though it doesn't really need it), and everything ends happily.
I think it's an anime that tries to tell you to have self-love and confidence in what you do, to work hard, and everything will work out sooner or later...
But with nods to video games and nothing really exciting... it's not bad, it's not unbearable to watch, it's not so awkward that it's embarrassing, but it's nothing special either. It's one of those
...
anime that you'll forget over time.

You can't complain about an anime where in the second episode (the narrator), who is our protagonist, tells you "that it's the story of how he became the BEST hero" (which, by the way, he says he forgot to mention, meaning if he remembered, he would have told you in episode 1...).
But anyway, what I mean by that is that from that point on, the anime loses all excitement, it loses suspense, and it leaves you completely without any need to think... since every encounter he has during the series only forces him to become "the best hero," every difficulty is
...
just part of the journey, you don't have to worry, he's not going to die because he'll become "the best hero." At the end, when the anime is at its climax and you think, "Oh no, what if he's just a secondary character and the villain wins?" well, no, because he hasn't become the "best hero" yet.
I'm making myself clear, right? You can't pretend you were expecting a thrilling plot twist or heartbreaking losses, much less that the villain would emerge victorious, because in the end, this is the story of how our protagonist became the "greatest hero."
Now, taking that as a starting point... sit back and enjoy the ride. Yes, you know how it's going to end, and that's precisely why you shouldn't have any expectations. From that moment on, you know what you're watching. You don't have to get angry if there aren't any losses, or be upset that the protagonist was practically 100% victorious in the end. I mean, if EVERYTHING hadn't gone perfectly, he wouldn't have been able to become the greatest hero. So lower your expectations a bit and remember, you're watching a shonen anime. Enjoy the fights full of flashing lights, basic emotions, and nothing too profound or outside of what we all already know after watching hundreds of anime. This is a pure, unadulterated shonen anime, not a psychological horror anime, not even a drama, not even a seinen.
Okay... I've vented a bit now... I mean, it's an anime I've been watching for 10 years, and I've been carrying the weight of seeing people complaining about it all this time... it's tiring to see the internet going crazy nitpicking...
Now, talking about the anime itself, the story it presented, and its ending... It's not bad. It's long, yes, it has its good and bad moments. I know I would have enjoyed it much more if I'd watched it all at once (not with the breaks between seasons that happen when you watch anime that's currently airing).
Some arcs are more entertaining than others. In fact, I feel like it took a LONG time to get going. The first seasons, and even the later ones, are mainly Chunin Exam arcs (for those not so old on anime, these are anime events where you pit the protagonists against each other). So it was tiring just fighting for the sake of fighting without giving it your all because they were just part of the classes.
The world's lore isn't taken seriously until very late in the series, when in a society of this magnitude it should have a much greater impact (and Deku should have sued the Japanese government—I mean, the government pays you depending on your actions saving the day, and Deku saved the day, but apparently they only paid his hospital expenses thanks to the school's insurance... I mean, I would have sued all of Japan so they would at least support me for life). But haha, that's more of an adult's thought, tired of life like mine, not a hero's.
The animation isn't bad, nor is it a masterpiece, but there are many, many worse animations.
And that's about it. I don't remember it making me cry at any point, but there were scenes that got my heart racing with adrenaline or stirred emotions because I empathized with the characters... but nothing too intense.
Regarding the ending… it's much appreciated that it has a prologue and, in a way, a closed ending. The community complains that his friends abandoned him for eight years of his life and only reached out after they managed to afford a super-technological suit to give him so he could act as a hero again in a community that probably no longer needs him. I have two opinions about that.
The first point is that it's very real to be so busy with life that you don't see your friends... I'll use myself as an example, since I graduated from university and started adult life being exploited. It's tough to get together, go out with friends, or generally want to do anything other than sleep or rest. There's not much time to be looking for people to hang out with or reconnect with former classmates.
Then there's the other opinion, which is that you at least have one or two important people you do see regularly, especially in this technological age where you might not see them in person, but at least exchange text messages. Even in an exploitative society like Japan, you might see your friends once or twice a year. And if we add to that the fact that crime is supposedly decreasing, they should have plenty of free time to see their friends. It wasn't logical that they ghosted him for those eight years... especially not from close friends like Gravity (who was his crush) or Mr. Explosions, whom he cried for and with for a long time....
But anyway… details, details… if we start criticizing and judging everything the anime did in many parts, this text would never end.
In short, a very brief summary would be:
“A generational sonen anime that ends delivers what it promises, and don't expect anything more or less.”
But if you're already old and have seen a lot of anime, you probably won't like it because you've already seen several "better" shonen anime (although it's more likely that we're just old and our tastes have matured).

The final season basically serves to wrap up the romantic storylines of the series and a few other details or objectives in the personal lives of the protagonists...
I'm not entirely satisfied with how the romance ended.
Basically, because everyone was paired up with someone or had a crush. While not everyone ended up together, everyone had an attraction to another character, who, in turn, had to break some hearts.
Throughout the series, different types of love were shown. For example, the professor's relationship with the blonde girl seemed more like a "father-daughter" love to me, but in the end, they made it more
...
of a romantic love, which... well, I don't entirely like (I mean, they're cousins after all XD).
But it's really a minor detail. The strength of the anime was never its romance; it was more about overcoming adversity and finding one's place in the world.
The drama is quite good; adversity happens to everyone, and this anime tries to teach you that in the end, everything can be overcome and you can move forward with effort, with the support of your friends, and why not say it, with sweet gestures (honey) and a bit of luck (and Clover).

I watched it because it's from the same author as 3gatsu no lion, a dramatic Shogi boy anime that made me cry a lot a few years ago, but sadly, 3gatsu never ended. However, this anime of honey and clover does end, so I said, "Well, why not?" And I really enjoyed it.
In a nutshell, the anime is about a group of young people going through the process of their lives, where they must go from being college students to functioning adults... a very ugly period of life.
Our protagonists have to deal with finishing their studies, getting a job, being functional,
...
figuring out what they want to do with their lives and what to do with their relationships... and that's it...
It's a realistic drama, nothing super romantic, nothing supernatural, just a process we all go through.
It didn't stir any special emotions in me; I didn't cry or laugh out loud, but it did make me feel nostalgic... I didn't go through a similar process to any of the protagonists, and I didn't particularly identify with anyone.
But seeing the very different problems each of the protagonists faces, how they deal with them, and how they must move forward did make me feel a little nostalgic for when I was in that process of being a student with dreams to being an exploited worker who hates his life...
What I'm trying to get at is that it's an anime that makes you reflect and think about your life. It's a calm anime that gives you time to be with yourself...
For some people, it may be heavy, slow, even boring because nothing really serious happens. It has its problems, its love affairs, its teenage and adult issues, and its comedy, but it's all very, very realistic. And if, like me, you like spending time with yourself and a slice-of-life anime story makes you think about your life, this could be the anime for you... or maybe if you're at that point in your life where you feel stuck, lost, or directionless, this anime might help you...
About the story... well, it has a second part and some OVAs, but I liked how this first season ended, even if it didn't have more, I like the ending, slightly open, emotional and at a point where not everything is resolved but there is faith in the coming future.
