Where do I even start?
At first glance, Golden Time looks like your standard 6/10 rom-com. Cute girls, goofy moments, and all that stuff. But the longer it goes, the more you realize… this is NOT your average rom-com.
Storytelling is amazing in its own way. Characters and they mental struggles are realistic. Their personalities evolve, they make mistakes, they grow. Some moments are more dramatic or romantic than real life… but that just makes it taste even better.

If you ever believed you could control time or who shares it with you, this anime will teach you how wrong you are.
There’s literally nothing more to be said; this story is a full experience on its own and the reason I’ve loved anime since I was young. It teaches you things that no one and nothing else can. If you think you are emotionally ready, I’d say you’re wrong, if you ever start this anime, get ready to be changed afterwards. Until now, they had never scored above 8.0 on any of their productions and were mostly known for small, 12-episode series with 7.5 rating.
