Honestly, when I first watched the Domestic Girfriend Anime, I was hooked on the story. The plot was very intriguing and when I started to watch more after the first few episodes. That led me to read the manga because I wanted to know what happened after the events occurring in episode 12. The Manga is great because there were details and events that the anime didn't have and it added more to the story and character development. After the first half of the manga, I felt like the storyline kinda lost its touch. It's still great and all following along with the story, but
...
it didn't feel as amazing as the first few arcs. As for the ending... The story does really well up to the point where it leads to a happy ending. The protagonist gets their way and we all pat ourselves for making it through the long journey. This is up until a couple of unexplainable events occur and the story completely ends up horribly. It felt as if all of the monumental events that occurred had amounted to nothing. We all enjoyed reading it and hoped for a rewarding ending, but in the end, it felt as if Kei Sasuga had punched us in the face. Overall the art was amazing and there was somewhat great character development. But overall I feel as if the Manga wasn't very rewarding in the end.
