If anyone rated this above a 4 y'all have patience. I'm writing this as the last ep continues to drag. This will be my first review. *spoilers obviously ahead*
Story: 3
As its been said the setting is a vampire, magic, world on a man made island. After the first arc I thought it would be a great anime with a sh!t ton of dangerous enemies, however this would be greatly shot down; as the story slowly and painfully dragged me to hell with it. From the the first arc which held my attention long enough to lose it all right before the the labyrinth of the

blue witch *which in my opinion was the best tale/arc*. "Strike the Blood" has nothing that made it stand out, the characters didnt grow on me to believe in a strong ship. After all its Yukina being his observer and Akastuki wanting her to be with his security monitor.
Characters: 3
Yukina is a attached by the second episode wondering if "Senpai would be sad if she was gone" from that moment on i couldnt take any development serious. If this can be called a harem its an accidental one. Asagi is a character I believe is deeper than the anime showed. It hinted at an ability with her eyes when shes doing her cyber battles but never got to deep into that. Her pal Mogwai at first it seemed she created him but later on its hinted he has his own personality and isnt just Asagi's partner. I enjoyed seeing them two do their thing to prevent possible cataclysm, no matter how small the role saving the island is still saving. Vastler only wanted entertainment he wasnt good nor evil but he sides with both to rid boredom? Yaze another one of Akatsuki classmates has a secret as well. First Akatsuki wants to hide the fact that he is the fourth progenitor. Yaze knows who he is yet the MC doesnt know him. In that aspect it played fairly well. "The its my fight... No Senpai, its ours" was good at first but as the show rolls on it became annoying as no matter what it'll be their fight even when the first and fourth went to the boat. I for one wouldnt contact my observer the f*ck?
Music: 6
The openings were decent nothing spectacular, the ending songs were chillout the second ending song where himeragi observers Akatsuki thru the t.v. was the best thing about the second half.
Overall: 4
it isnt worth recommendations. Its filled with cliché and cringe worthy devolopements, it does have nice chapters. Warlords, witches, demons, alchemists, dragons. But thats not enough to make me rate it even a average score. Sorry for the crap first review, hopefully I'll review more.
