Reading this novel is highly recommended, if you liked the Muramasa Visual Novel already. Many themes from the Visual Novel were carried over and this is just more interesting content. This tackles the Nanboku-cho period of the Muramasa universe and expands the backstory of how the Muramasa tsurugi became so feared throughout Yamato, by showing the war from both the Northern and Southern Court's point of view.

This show is a hidden gem - or an obvious one, if you're a Kamen Rider fan already. For my part, I have never watched anything else to do with Kamen Rider, and just wanted a fun action anime after the disaster that is One Punch Man Season 3. And this show absolutely delivers!
My jaw is legit hurting, because I am grinning throughout all of the episodes. The comedy ABSOLUTELY lands for me. The premise and the characters are wonderfully absurd and extremely entertaining already: adults with 8th-grader syndrome (chuunibyou) play pretend-hero against pretend-villains. I continued reading this after 1.5 years or so. I gave this an 8 originally, but I guess during that time I read many WAY better stories than this garbage. The scenarios and the overall premise are pretty interesting, that was the main reason why I stuck with it and ignored the bad parts. But after all this time, I really cannot stand this shit anymore. Unfortunately the unnecessary, inconsequential, juvenile and too frequent Ecchi kills the entire work.

I am treating this manga as two parts.
Part 1 is chapters 1-12 and has a fan translation. Part 2 is chapters 13-25 and doesn't. I got my hands on the raws and used a translator myself. It worked quite well and I believe I got most of the information. Part 1 (9-10/10) This was all around an amazing read! We have likable and interesting main characters, which play well off each other.
