What has to be a story from Ais Wallenstein POV very quickly became a story about Lefiya Viridis, who is one of the worst characters in the whole series. Useless, annoying, clingy but “nice” girl who want to grow up to be like her hero, Ais in this situation.

There were a lot of interesting points in the season. We could have learned about Ais past, her mother, the antagonist of this season, some new lore about Loki guild, Freyas games behind the scene etc., but ultimately this season didn't develop anything of it. What's going on with guild? But no, we won't have answers to ... those questions. But here, take 8 episodes about Viridis being jealous and clingy to Ais.

In the end, it doesn't do anything to the main show and in the end was a waste of time. Maybe if there were more seasons from Ais POV it would be better, but as it is now, just watch the mainline show and don't bother with Sword Oratoria at all. Verdict: 3 out of 10.

This anime is so refreshing in every way possible. It tells the story of young school girls who are passionate about creating anime or, in the case of some, making it popular to make money.

All three projects the girls worked on during these 12 episodes were very well written from the production side. Science SARU really showed us all the struggles in anime studios. It was nice to see how Asakusa was going crazy with her ideas, Mizusaki tried her best to make animation as detailed and realistic as possible, and Kanamori just being there for them, guiding them, putting them together and making ... them work and not just dreaming.

It was also refreshing from the concept and genre. Nowadays we have a lot of shonen, isekai, fantasy or just rom-com comedies when girls bully boys, etc. This, on the other hand, was really original, yeah, we can say that there is already one anime about anime, but this is much different from Shirobako, it just shows how without a budget, team or even all the needed stuff for work, just on pure passion something great and interesting can be created.

It is also very funny and heartwarming. There are a lot of good comedy situations with Asakusa, and Kanamori, being all that serious and a businesswoman, is also funny as hell.

Sometimes you might have questions about one or another story moment, but there is really nothing critical that will ruin your experience, so I totally recommend this to everyone and especially to those, who grow tired of all modern anime. Eizouken ni wa Te wo Dasu na! is definitely a breath of fresh air that everyone needs.
