This show is fantastic, an absolutely amazing romcom with great characters and drama. Himari and Yu are probably one of the most interesting romcom couples I've seen. On the surface, they're the popular girl and the loser guy who have mutual feelings for one another but can't seem to just make out already. But what I like about boygirl is that 1. they actually get together by the end of season 1 2. there's a reason why they can't just have sex already. There's the obvious part of not wanting to break the promise of being best friends but there's a lot of emotional baggage

a 6.12, really? God, people are so biased towards idol anime its unreal. This show is awesome. Not only is the animation and CG gorgeous but the premise and characters are also great. Combining magic and music is always a plus in my book and seeing how the girls use magic to solve all of their issues without really solving them is really interesting. This is the anime im most excited to see come out week to week because of how invested I am in seeing what all 5 of the girls are hiding behind their normal dispositions. Criminally underrated show. Kuroiwa Medaka is impervious to my charms is a classic romcom filled with fun characters and a charming romance. I always love protagonists with a bit of a dark side to them, if you agree with that statement, you'll probably enjoy Mona. She's egocentric and cares way too much about her image, only really portraying herself as the perfect girl. This is what makes Mona so fun to watch. Her inner monologues are so vibrant and her plans to make Kuroiwa fall for her are a joy. This also makes the moments where Mona is self-conscious or shows vulnerability all the more
