I recon that this is pretty much a "taste" of the upcoming animated series, as it only shows short sequences from the magical world. More then a short movie, I'd say it's a long trailer. Anyhow, it's giving the same atmosphere with majestic, magical world building and cute character designs as in the manga and original anime. However, I can't get past the animation techniques used. Even if it's "well made" it's taking away so much from the nostalgia that made us fall in love with Sugar Sugar Rune the first time.
