I wanted to like it. I really did, but as I keep watching each episode, the more confused. I get. It feels like some of the scenes are rushed and random developments are rushed. Also, I hate the MMC. It felt like Booktok vibes, but not good writing. I'm hoping the manga is better. I felt zero attachment to any of the characters. It didn't make me feel anything. It's a shame because the beginning was nice, but it felt rushed so on afterward.

The series could do without Chris. Season 1 was boring...Season 2 was getting better with the storyline. But a lot of moments from SA2B were changed with Chris always intervening, ruining potential shipping moments. I'm a multishipper, but it just seemed the show shipped Chris with Sonic or Shadow. It was just annoying how Amy's moment with Shadow was ruined. Live and Learn was a nice touch. I dunno. I feel mixed about this. I love some moments, but Chris makes it very unenjoyable. "He's just a kid." yeah, but the way the show portrayed him was just weird. He feels thrown into the plot

It was really cute and heartfelt. It had me go to the edge of my seat since there was a plot forming. It had those comedy relief moments and also made my tears jerk..However..there were potential canon pairings in this anime...But I was highly disappointed it didn't go further than that. All I can say is that I was really disappointed in the ending. Not going to spoil it though. Find out yourself. Art (10) I love love LOVE the art style. The little hearts in Riko's eyes were simply so adorable. The transformation scenes were so pretty to look at. Sound (9) The OP and ED themes ...

I looked at the other two reviews and it seems they judge it too harshly. Me? I've watched 27 episodes of this anime and I love it a lot. Ahem.
Allow me to review everything. Story (7) It's not super amazing and it doesn't really have a plot aside from the mystery of the power of the cards. I dunno it myself, but that really caught my interest. I love how the Vanguard game is played. The rules are interesting and I hope it gets brought out here to the USA so I can play it myself. Also, I like this anime a lot better than Yugioh. Yeah. ...

Just AWFUL! It's really sad how Koge Donbo's work in the anime always gets ripped apart like this! The anime avoids the serious parts. The character's relationships don't develop like they do in the manga. It's horrible. The only good thing about this anime is the music, that's it. The artwork gets really poor too! I noticed in one episode, Karin's eyes were so far apart! I just shook my head in disgust. I suggest for everyone out there to read the manga to see what I mean!
