Very similar things that both these anime share: 1. Male lead learning to live with others, with romance and harem more in Vandread 2. Epic space battles around the survival of the cast and their spaceship 3. MC's mecha is overpowered in both anime, which each having its own gimmick Vandread is much more ecchi, but still recommend the watch if you've seen Heroic Age!

Nihon e Youkoso Elf-san.

Both of these stories are very similar with themes of isekai and reverse isekai. Sasaki to Pii-chan focuses more on the business and magic building themes, whilst Nihon e Youkoso Elf-san has more emphasis on an elf from another world discovering Japanese culture, with strong labyrinth adventuring in the iseaki world. Additionally, Nihon e Youkoso Elf-san has a much better relationship between the two lead MC's than Sasaki to Pii-chan does.

Both are set in a magic academy where the MC is striving to become the best at their academy to achieve their end goals. Both also include a dungeon/labyrinth as a main focus point of much of the stories and adventures. Both animes have stunning visuals and great action scenes throughout. However, Wistoria focuses more on the MC not having magical power in a world of magic making him the underdog of the anime, where Spellblades does not.
