I was finally able to read it after so many years.
The art is incredible, the pacing is quite good, and the story is captivating. It left me thinking about it and wanting to keep reading.
It's very reminiscent of Tokyo Ghoul, from the power system, the aesthetics, and the direction the plot takes.
It's not short as such (it's 9 volumes after all), but the political/conspiracy plot is very ambitious (in a good way), so the final resolution is a bit rushed. By this, I mean that in just a few chapters, there's plot twist after plot twist, and it even delves into new concepts.

Another disappointment from this year's anime releases.
Superficial in its themes, it shows "oh deep" themes, but without delving into them or really taking them seriously. A worldbuilding that barely holds up, and good action scenes just to show they could do it. Most episodes revolve around the team essentially doing "nothing" and making little to no progress in the plot, with minimal development in characterization and/or their relationships. The last episode was terrible, and the airport reveal makes several events in the series less meaningful, even though the formation of the eponymous group makes sense. Several characters introduced throughout the series were unintentionally unlikable (exactly, I'm not ... May 19, 2025
I really wanted to like it; I was eagerly awaiting it because of how interesting its story and the names behind it could be.
The script ended up being uninteresting, and over the episodes, it gets increasingly diluted into unresolved subplots with superficial characters; not even the protagonists are spared. The antagonists are terrible at writing. I recognize the boldness of an unconventional chronology; however, the execution is somewhat questionable. The events feel forced for the sake of shock value, so much so that the conflict ceases to matter. At least the animation looks pretty, but Arakawa is capable of better character designs. The BGM is fine. That said, ... Feb 3, 2025
I think it's the best video game to manga adaptation I've read.
I loved Link's characterization and arc (his hero's journey), the story is long enough to develop unlike the authors' previous works adapting Zelda games, and the characters are endearing. Just like Link, I'm going to miss Midna. The art is gorgeous: the characters are distinct from each other (which comes from the original game's design), the backgrounds are beautiful, the panel layout has a good "something", and it's very fluid to read (especially the battles). I loved it, I read it in just a few days because I was so captivated by the plot. I've wanted ... Jan 21, 2025
Ad Astra: Scipio to Hannibal

This title deserves more recognition. It's like the occidental (and clearly shorter) version of Kingdom.
It makes me sad that this is the only work from its author, both his drawing and narrative skills are worthy of praise. The characters' anatomy is accurate, and the page/panel composition provides a smooth reading flow. I'm not an expert in history, but from what I've read, the historical events depicted in this manga respect their real-world counterparts. You can feel empathy and interest towards the character, from both sides. The cruelty of the war touches you thanks to the drawings, and some characters' deaths are really emotional. It consists of only 13 ... Oct 7, 2024

Woah, that was truly wholesome.
The art by Kento Matsuura (I met him thanks to "Honomieru Shounen") is beautiful. The drawings are simple but effective when it comes to conveying emotions and feelings, and at the same time, bringing this kind of "after the disaster" atmosphere. It's a 54-page one-shot that feels fluid (and short) to read, with a "cute" development and a hopeful conclusion. With really few characters you can feel the message and the emotions they have inside them. The story was written by Sekka Iwata, the author of "Magilumiere", it was my first time reading a work of him. It will only take you ... Jan 20, 2023
INSUFFERABLE!!
Bottom line: Nyanko-sensei gets lost and ends up babysitting 2 kids... 2 unbearable kids. Those 2 kids are the worst characters they could have created in the series. It lacks everything characteristic of Natsume (series), such that it doesn't even leave a teaching at the end. The usual characters appear very momentarily, as does the soundtrack. The episode is like a badly told fable. As I understood, the OVA is original to the anime, so the original author is not 100% to blame. I am aware that it is a single episode OVA, but the quality is poor even for that. The most salvageable thing is the ... Jan 15, 2021

I speak spanish, so I could understand to perfection the only dub available in the net.
In brief words: this movie is a nonsense; this movie is so but soooo bad... that ends up being hilarious. The movie has a long of only 1 hr, if you had a free time watch it, ends up being enjoyable how bad it is. I need more words to publish the review, but what can I say... In the begining is stablished Blackstar as a dangerous villain and Goldenbat will stop him... But next we have a long 30 min (aprox) exposition about 3 boys in a forest and visiting a ... |
