Preliminary (22/? chp)
With an easy-to-read story and spectacular art, it leaves you wanting to know what happens next page after page. It immerses you directly into a deep, intricate, yet easy-to-understand lore. In just 20 chapters, it gave me more depth and information than many manga could provide in hundreds.

The characters are totally lovable with unique designs, and the story makes you get attached enough to cry for every single one of them.

The art is spectacular, tempting you to stop and stare at every page intently. Every detail feels deliberate and consistent throughout the reading experience. The manga is full of double-page spreads, where each one perfectly ...

Mixed Feelings
Preliminary (17/? chp)
It has an intense premise, but the protagonist is a total moron and the girl is basically an NPC, which completely ruins the serious vibe.

The friends serve as comic relief and act as a bridge in this cohabitation relationship, mostly to put into words what these cardboard characters are incapable of saying themselves.

The art is pretty generic, too. Usually, that wouldn't matter much for a Light Novel adaptation, but since the characters are so stiff, it just amplifies how boring the whole thing is. It's a good concept that was totally wasted here.

Unfortunately, I’m forced to drop this series at chapter 17. Everything interesting about ...

A completely self-centered and dense 13yo boy falls in love with his 16yo neighbor, a film enthusiast.

We watch him grow up, both physically and mentally, doing whatever it takes to be with her, all while they are both chasing their own dreams.

This manga speaks to us about chasing our dreams, learning self-worth, and bettering ourselves every day. It shows how, through willpower—in this case, driven by love—we can change and broaden our horizons in order to mature and truly understand what it means to love.

It is a solid coming-of-age story where we witness the MC's development. He does everything for his beloved Shio, giving her ...

It features an Oedipus complex just the way the Japanese like it: juicy and full of fanservice.

The protagonist's mother is a mangaka, and by the time I finished reading, I realized the whole thing is self-referential to the actual author and his past works (we're talking crystal clear references made for the fans), like Mysterious Girlfriend X.

It has meta-references to the manga industry too. For example, if they submit a 30-page manuscript in the story, the actual chapter you're reading is 30 pages long, or 32 pages, and so on (plus subtle details, shading, etc.).

The ending wraps up pretty well, although I would have liked ...

Preliminary (28/? chp)
The step dad-daughter premise is only the tip of the iceberg, because once you find out what really happens, you will get the urge to keep reading every new chapter, which is DARKER and DARKER than the previous one.

Every character feels real and reacts to these horrifying situations just like a normal person would, rather than acting like your typical MC who is just perverted or dumb.

We are watching people grapple with deep existential and psychological trauma while being manipulated in unimaginable ways. Right from chapter one, a twisted and grotesquely horrifying scheme is being spun in the background without you realizing it. Be warned: ...
