The 2nd season is exactly what someone would expect with how the 1st season ended.

Sung keeps getting stronger and levels up, his army also gets bigger and stronger and stronger and this time he isnt hiding his power from others.

He meets up with other stronger S hunters and enemies through this season.
Cant get into more details to avoid spoilers.

If you liked the 1st season and you want more of it, this is exactly what you get in this Season.

The pace is fast once again, the fights dont last many episodes like with other anime, voice acting(JP)is very good, many fights dont last more than ... 1-2 episodes in general.

This show for me is a guilty pleasure, even though it lacks in story/writing/side characters compared to other anime.

Violet Evergarden is one of the fiew shows that manage to deliver(for the most part)a good story with great character development and is an anime worth watching .

Story

Not for everyone but also not someting you see nowadays often in anime,so its kinda rare and unique.
The whole concept of dolls writing letters of their customers to the people they care the most after a war is pretty interesting and fits perfectly to the character development of the main character Violet evergarden.

I didnt enjoy the final episodes as much as the first episodes (showing how Violet adapts to her new life at her new job) due to ... the changes they made with a key character in the series,( it has to do with Gilbert) but overall it doesnt disappoint.

Art

Now this is the part that almost noone wont complain watching the series.The attention to detail and animation( for the most part) is really remarkable and helps a lot enjoying the manga.
Special attention has been given to Violet of course(highlight when she reveals her hands)which is always good since she is the person you see most in all the episodes.
One of the highlights of the whole anime.

Sound

Good Ost and for the most part mostly noticable during emotional moments which help in enjoying the series.Overall pretty good.


Characters and enjoyment

This is another highlight of the show for me.One of the best character developments of a main protagonist i have seen in a 13episode anime.
The way Violet transforms from a war tool to a dolll that cares for others is simply amazing(and emotional).

Also the other supporting characters that aid in Violets character development are also good like Hodgins her boss,and the other dolls.

This is what i liked the most especially since the whole show is named after the main protagonist.

Overall i had a blast with the show. Really great work on the character development of Violet and of course the animation and the best part is that it is a complete anime/story with no cliffhangers for next seasons or anything.

Highly recommend it as one of the best anime of the season.

Another season of Shokugeki no Souma and this time things arent as predictable as were in previous seasons.

Unlike previous seasons this time shoukugeki gets a lot more story focused(always keeping in mind the whole focus of the foodgasm series)by involving Erina and her father with Soma and his family.

We get to know more about Erinas past and present(she becomes more present this season than in the previous ones)and also we get to know(some of them in action)some of the elite ten of the academy.
I personally really liked this approach.And it makes sense as it shows something a bit different than Souma trying to bear everyone ... in a Shokugeki.

Erinas father is a short of plot twist(his past and present)that is really welcome in the series mostly because it spices things up a bit and the series becomes a bit less predictable.
The fanservice is still present obviously but there are arent as many scenes as in previous seasons.

The art direction and animation like in previous seasons is spot on.

It short of ends with a cliffhanger concerning Soumas father but the series will have a continuation in April. I really enjoyed this season more than i expected and am looking forward to the next one.

Kekkai sensen & Beyond splits into 2 parts in these 12 episodes.

The first part is more story focused around Leonardo and thats episodes 1,11 and 12 and the second part are the episodes between them which involve the rest of the Libra characters and helps as some short of character development.

The first part and especially the last 2 episodes are for me the most enjoyable episodes of the whole season .And that is because they were focused around Leonardo and his sister Michella.
I would really like to see more story involving Claus but that didnt happen on this season at least.

The second part is the ... episodic one around the rest of the libra members like Chain,Steven,K.K or even Gilbert.We get 1 to 2 episodes focusing on each one of them without having any connections between them.
I really liked the fact that they showed more of Gilbert for example but whats the point since we dont see him being involved in anything in the rest of Kekkai?Same goes for the doctor or Dog.
And the only reason i complain about this is because of fact that the season has only 12 episodes.
We barely saw any of the thirteen kings except from Fempt.

In terms of art direction and music/sound there is nothing to complain about as they are as good as the first season. I wish Kekkai Sensen % beyond was more story focused with more episodes.
