What do you think made the manga kinda tough to read? (I'm not sure if I worded my question the best lol)
Noticed you completed Bocchi, right? I've had an itch for more music/band anime for a while, cant wait to watch it some time
I got to say for somebody who isn't really into this line of work, I can tell you really have a drive to persevere in your job. I respect you on that buddy. Who knows, you may get a promotion someday and end up doing something that you truly love. Or at the very least it will give you experience for other jobs potentially in the future.
Me too me too! I find that whenever Mel's website design comes into question, they're usually two people on either side of the fence. Ones that absolutely adore that it stayed retro like this, and those who think it's way too stuck in the past and have moved on to other websites such as Anilist.
Okay, so your job is very similar to my friend's job. He also does work from home and has similar job specifications such as yours. Is there ever a time where you're called in for a meeting and have to do it face to face with other people, or is that all just possible on your PC? I know my friend occasionally has to do that from time to time.
Yes I mentioned they really went above and beyond with this website. A lot of people do criticize it though and feel that it doesn't look as modern as other websites, how do you feel about this? Since you work with computers I figure it'd be an interesting take to hear from. 🤔
So how exactly does your work go if you don't mind me asking. Do you work with other people who take calls with you? Or are you all separate from each individual task? I have a friend who seems to do something similar, and they tend to work as a team. Even though a lot of those team members can go off and do whatever they want since they're working from home. I guess that would be one of the downsides.
I certainly concur! I think it's one of my favorite things about this website. I remember when I first heard about it, I couldn't believe there was a place where you could actually list all of the anime and manga you have ever watched. And they even made it a social media website in conjunction with it. This site has everything!
Yes thankfully it doesn't happen too often, but I tell you these people are something else. There was even this dude that was threatening to sue our company because we parked briefly in a handicap area for like 10 minutes to unload some food. XD
Okay I had a feeling that was the case. Well hey in hindsight then it sounds like at the very least you are enjoying the current job you have better than your old one, that's something right? So what kind of YouTube channel are you planning to start by the way?
Hey it didn't sound corny at all! I can tell you're really getting passionate about the hobby of manga, I really enjoy finding new manga friends to talk with about the hobby too. Because by and large more people are far more into anime than they are into reading manga. The forums alone on this website will tell you that. Hahaha!
By the way I've been meaning to ask you. Before you did home warranties, was this something that you had to switch to do due to covid back in the day? I know some individuals who are still working from home because of this effect. Was just curious if you were one of them.
Hey no problemo at all, I'm trying to get more attention to that manga. Do you enjoy binge reading manga during your work hours?
So the catering company I work for is a local mom and pop business. We pretty much cater exclusively to my home city, and certain other cities within the state from time to time. We try our best not to travel too far for gas reasons and also you never know what might happen if the delivery van breaks down. So more often than not it's just here locally.
Dude I totally get where you're coming from! I had a computer job shortly before covid happened, and let me tell you I can definitely relate. I too used to go stir crazy, because I would literally just move a few feet from my work area to my room. Hang in there though, I'm sure your family appreciates it!
Sweet! You finished that manga really fast, yeah the ending and certain story plots kind of leave things up to your own imagination and conclusion. I'm assuming that's by design considering the story.
Dang 200 to 300 calls a day? Man I never expected to be that high. Is this a job you do in an office or from the comfort of your own home? I have a friend who does a similar thing but works out of their house.
