Sometimes anime can feel very dense. Instead of a grand adventure full of major events, an anime might focus on character interactions, the introduction of a detailed system, or a journey toward a goal made up of small but frequent events.
This anime, despite having a very classic structure, was something I had hope for after enjoying the first episode. However, starting from episode 2, it slowed down unbelievably. I could have tolerated that if it included any of the elements I mentioned above, but what’s apparent is that this anime seems to have sworn an oath to not actually be developed.
Across four whole episodes, the
...
only thing that happens is taking one person to another place and then hyping up that person’s return. There is no character depth, no twist, no connection to the past, or anything of the sort. I’m genuinely trying to find something to praise about this anime, but there’s nothing. I ended up watching four episodes that had no real content or progression whatsoever
I’m not saying the anime is bad, because there’s nothing in it that I can even criticize as bad — it’s empty. I honestly wish it were bad so I’d at least have something to complain about, but even that’s missing. Just a bit of fighting, a bit of drama, a bit of... cooking?
Normally, despite having watched hundreds of anime, I’ve only written a few reviews. Yet here I am writing one for this, because I’ve never seen an anime this empty. The entire plot can be summed up in just a few words.

This... In one word... Ma-je-stic. I haven’t come across an anime this rich, where every element is handled properly in a long time. These days, as the industry keeps getting worse, I opened it just to kill some time. As I’m not a Japanese viewer, with a title containing no familiar words and a cover that gave little clue about the content, I assumed it would be something cheap and unclear. But it only took me five minutes to realize how wrong I was.
Even though it’s not very unique, it has a good subject choice, combined with a fast start, aggressive use of ecchi, an

interesting and well-woven plot, and characters with above-average depth and imagery. It also delivers fluidity, a gripping pace, humor, and most importantly, "ABSURDITY"
As someone who watches anime more than films, what I expect from anime is to avoid getting too caught up in realism and logic like films do, and instead embrace originality and absurdity. This anime is one of the rare works that manages to embody all of these, along with all the other elements I mentioned before.
Additionally, the anime’s OP would rival even the strongest action anime. It’s incredibly hype. Probably because of its theme and ecchi content, many people will talk trash about it, but I can easily say it’s one of the solid anime of this year.

This production is of the quality to become one of the cult classics of the harem genre in the future—a complete masterpiece. Even though it doesn't have a very original premise, it's successful in terms of how the story is handled and the plot structure. It's not an extreme success, but it can definitely be considered "good."
The most important thing that sets this harem production apart from others is how well the world settings are arranged. As someone who has watched hundreds of harem anime and read several of its manga, I can say this: the common problem in most harem works is the presence
...
of "unjustified and exaggerated interactions." What I mean is that in harem stories, relationships between characters form and develop incredibly fast, even though there's no clear reason—or the reason is too unnecessary to be considered valid.
However, in this series, the fact that only women can gain power in the world, makes the entire cast being female justified, and Kyouka's ability being based on a "reward" principle, all provide a logical foundation for Yuuki's interactions with the female characters. Thanks to this, the sense of artificiality disappears, making it a much more enjoyable work to watch/read.
If I had to offer a negative critique, it's that Yuuki is a bit too passive as a main character and not very interesting. While this is understandable since he lives in a society where men are passive, it would have been far more impactful if he reflected a bit more of the male nature.

This manga is a masterpiece. I saw it while randomly looking for manga, and when the first chapter was a bit clichéd and I thought about leaving it at first because I wasn't in the mood for it, but when I saw the theme of revenge and what happened to naima, I respected the brave attitude of the manga creators and said I would give the manga a chance. At first, when I saw the classic revenge story and the hateful mc who was exiled to dungeon, I thought that they would use revenge as an excuse and swallow to us the classic leveling-themed shounen,

but after a slightly long introduction, things started to get darker and darker, separated from most productions and turned into a deeper production where all kinds of emotions were processed. As someone who is looking for originality in a manga and waiting for the unexpected, this manga always offered me the unpredictability I always wanted, making me long for it and suffer in 12 chapters. I think it is one of the productions that should be given a chance.
