Let’s talk about a painfully slow and poorly paced show that had genuine potential, only to throw it all away with an ending this bad. Watching it reach that conclusion was incredibly frustrating.

At its core, the story starts off fairly generic, like many 12-episode anime. That said, it does introduce some interesting ideas early on. Unfortunately, most of those ideas go nowhere. Much of the plot is predictable and dull, giving the viewer very little reason to stay invested. A perfect example is the three episodes spent in the White Kingdom, where the characters mostly just eat, play games, and hang out. While it’s clearly ... meant to build the world and set up later events, it fails to do so in any meaningful way. As a result, when the kingdom is eventually destroyed, there’s little emotional weight or reason for the audience to feel any real compassion.

The character development is another major issue. Oddly enough, while the main story drags, the personal development of the characters is rushed to the point of being confusing. Character stories move so quickly that it’s difficult to understand each character’s role, and at times you may even forget why certain characters are present in the story at all.

Finally, the main reason this show deserves criticism: the ending. It genuinely feels like the writer reached episode ten and decided, “Screw it—why bother with a satisfying conclusion?” The ending directly contradicts the themes and setups of the entire series. Why tease romantic dreams when no real romance is ever explored? Why build up a war if both sides end up losing in a way that feels meaningless? Why give side characters names and dynamic personalities if none of it ultimately matters?

For these reasons, I’d rate this show a 3/10.

Not gonna lie, most 13-episode anime don’t really keep me hooked all the way through… but this one did. From episode one to the finale, I was glued to the screen.

The story is fun and engaging—even with the fast pacing of Rick’s rise to power, it never felt ruined or rushed. The focus on Rick, Angelica, and Broughston (for season one) was spot-on. I especially liked that Angelica wasn’t treated like a disposable side character—she kept showing up, growing, and even got a meaningful backstory. And that final fight between Rick and Broughston? Way more emotional than I expected. It honestly hit me hard in ... the best way.

The animation isn’t groundbreaking, but it’s clean and consistent. The spells look great, the hand-to-hand combat feels impactful, and compared to most seasonal 13-episode anime, I’d easily give the visuals an 8/10.

Overall, Ossan Newbie Adventurer is just a blast to watch. Between the characters, the action, and the emotions, it left me wanting more. I’m crossing my fingers for a season two because I need more Orichalcum Fist. For me, it’s an easy 10/10 must-watch!

The character development is weak and terrible its just a horny boy thats using the fact he wants to lose his virginity to get stronger i thought it would get better towards the end but low and behold the "Lose my virginity" bit went on WAY to long.

The fighting is good, i wouldn't call it anything unique or mind blowing but its not terrible to bad the action gets overshadowed by lame comedy and uninteresting characters

Lastly The story is very predictable right from the start besides the bad comedy and mid tier action scenes it was pretty obvious what the end fight scene would ... be and why, all in all its just a generic comedy action anime with no real uniqueness besides the spiritual wishes and even that addition didn't help make it more interesting.. i wouldn't recommend personally but perhaps Hand to hand combat is something you like this has a fair share..

This anime had great potential but after episode 4 its just not worth watching and ill say why,

The story starts out good and exciting watching Haruka enjoy his life in this new world creating an awesome house for himself and becoming stronger and his excitement makes you relate to the situation he's in since lets be honest we have all imagined being in this same scenario but the whole story become less interesting once he brings the girls to his home, it throws off the whole vibe and that once liberating freedom the MC had is gone, Haruka cant do anything without being yelled at ... by all the girls and we can hardly get a moment with the MC being cool without it being ruined such as the fight with Oda once Haruka won this fight it was immediately ruined by him getting essentially put down and instantly dragged off to be berated story like this ruin engagement and therefore i finished it so i could write this review correctly but i wouldn't personally recommend this show.

Let's about little Busters! For starters the opening and outro are amazing usually personally I would skip an the Op and Ot but these songs were very good, Next let's talk about the show itself it's seemingly a normal story about school life but in them you get into later episodes with ghosts and people being mysteriously forgotten it's all nice and a great addition to the story that makes it much more engaging, now many will disagree with this but episode 15 was terrible glorifying kidnapping and forcing someone to do what the girls did to Riki isn't something that's very funny and let's ... be honest if the situation was reversed this anime would be a 3/10 besides that episode I like the characters so let's talk about them for a moment Riki being the main character is nice but the fact he has narcolepsy doesn't add much to his character and it doesn't do good in portraying what narcolepsy is actually like, kilyousake Kengo and Masato are hilarious and the brotherhood they give to Riki is amazing I love them as a 4 man team definitely some of the best characters along with Rin seeing as Rin to me as a character is like Rikis little sister The 3 guys are like Rikis older brothers while Rin is like Rikis younger sister, I think the rest of the girls are great additions such as mio, Mios story by far was the most interesting and keeps you on your toes, Konari is an innocent girl but easily one of the funniest along side Kudryavka, Haruka doesn't have enough good screen time besides the fact she's kinda the intolerant character she's just annoying all on all I give this anime an 8/10 because episode 15, lastly I'll just say to make a review is to add what you think of the show and see who relates with your opinions not being forced into liking something that isn't good so this is my opinion on the show and if you can relate good if not that's also good that's what a review is about!

For a sport anime its really good i thought I wouldn't like it at first but after getting into it i loved it it sucks to see some of your favorite people go but at the same time some of them some of them are not who you really thought they were I love the action and colors of this anime more than most and i was engaged in the story almost every single second

Also when it comes to character development they really don't hide it they run you through every single one of there awakenings and most of the important players backstories ... so you really get a grasp of how these characters grow

My only quarrel would really be with the main character i found myself thinking that he's just annoying at some parts and overbearing which makes sense in the show but its almost like Taki Michi (Sorry if i say it wrong) in Tokyo revengers and how he's kind of just a big cry baby there similar but Blue Lock shows a better character development in my opinion

All in all cant wait for season 2... Like Really I Cant Wait Please Release It!!!!

The Story was less than average and confusing we spend 5+ episodes still learning new charcters that hardly matter to the story

Also the focus on Katie and Nanao is not needed and same could be said for almost all of the charcters its to much to focus on and remember, the main focus should be on Oliver instead of these other background characters who play slight roles in the show
Back to Katie who if couldnt handle the treatment of the magic fauna should have been removed from school and with Nanao who just wants to be unalived

there is just points where it cuts from one ... moment to another with hardly no context adding to the confusing story
all in all its just meh compared to what other shows you could watch

Alright Here's how it is the first season absolute masterpiece but then you come to this season and its totally different there's hardly a real story that keeps you engaged and it feels as though instead of having a show of students that catch criminals this season is all about Gay love and Women empowerment not saying it bad of course but when going from the first season that actiony and has actual good romance you come to this and it's just a meh so honestly if your reading reviews first before watching I'd recommend skipping this season if you want to hold the good ... memories
