I find it important to note that story enjoyment is ultimately subjective; in other words, if I reviewed or rated your favorite manga a harsh/low score, it doesn’t mean that it’s trash universally, just in my eyes. Like what you like, and I will like what I like.

I often get the question of why my scale isn’t a legitimate scale (I.e. MAL) where 5 is average. To answer that, I’ll compare it to a pizza.

A mediocre or average pizza (5) is still edible despite how unfulfilling the experience is. As such, mangas or stories are in a similar situation where a “5” manga is readable but nothing good at all. If I had no other food/story options, I'd eat/read it without much complaint. Anything below that, I’m speaking of the story’s entirety. If a 4 means bad, then I mean bad in its entirety — there is nothing good about it. I would take one bite/look, and move on.

Anyway, just like a pizza, if you’re offered a “5” slice, you’d still eat it. Hope this helps.

I don’t read gay stuff, even Yuri, nor do I like female leads and shojo manga. In other words, I’m not feminine…mostly. I read too much romance to claim that.

ALL of my manhwa review scores are HEAVILY inflated. If I could take them back, then I would. I literally only keep up with 3 manhwas now (The top 4 on my list — one of them is completed, and I sort of lost my passion finishing up that one, too.)

On a side note, if a story is on my “On-hold,” it’s safe to say I probably won’t touch it ever again for time and memorability reasons, unfortunately.

Since MAL doesn’t have manhuas in their database, just know that 99.5216% of them are trash. (Don’t worry, I’m still reading and looking.)

Took a uh, small. Ahem, small break, but on good news I finally fixed my iPad, so reading manga and writing reviews will be much easier than doing it on my phone and copy and pasting it in a Google Docs to be able to publish it on MAL from my laptop. In other words … the comeback will be coming very soon :)
