These anime have very similar concepts. Season 1 of Attack on Titan is obviously just the beginning of the story so I think your going to have to watch all of attack on titan to truly see the similarities. However I think if you love Code Geass then you will also love Attack on Titan. Both story's have amazing twist. Its almost impossible to predict what's gonna happen in the future even if you watch the entire first season which is something i think both story's have in common. I dont really wanna get into spoiler territory (its pretty hard to not spoil talking about these 2 lol ) so ill just say if you love Lelouch then you will definitely love Eren.
