Who could've thought that an anime about horse girls could make a person cry over and over again? Certainly not me. I loved S1 and entered this season thinking it's also another wholesome and funny 12 episodes. And it was! But there's no doubt that the writers cooked on this. The depiction of Teio's injuries felt incredibly real, and each time it seems like there is no hope at all. May 4, 2025 Watching New Game! was a very enjoyable experience. It's an anime where you can just sit back, relax and enjoy after a long day of work. The characters are likable and comforting. Animations are great and the arts and visuals are very cute and pleasant to look at. Personally, I really like the slice-of-life genre, but often time it's just not executed right. Some struggle to figure out what it's going to be, but that isn't the case for New Game. The anime knows that its plot is everyday life of a game development team, which is really refreshing.
