Short review:
Animation 9,5/10. Exceptional in every bit and awesome at the end
Story 10/10: Very welll build and though, all of it makes sense and is very complete. At the end it goes to another level and becomes even better.
Ending: 10/10
Characters: 9. All of them are really good and well defined, Shinpei is a really good protagonist and the rest of the main cast is really good too.
...
Villains: 9/10. They are very complex and in some times really REALLY evil, they are very well build too and very strong.
Music: 8. Pretty good
Openings and Endings 8. Very good songs, the first OP does not show much animation or characters but has a good song, the second has both, the endings are good too.
Final Rating: 9,75-10

I am gonna make it quick.
Urasawa makes art in his mangas, every episode has a tremendous writing level.
The first episode felt long for me, and each episode being one hour is good but sometimes it can be a bit tiring.
The story is great but since it is so complicated you have to pay attnetion and process all information with time to understand all symbolism and plot.
I liked more Monster and 20th Century, but this one is very good too, the animation is awesome in every episode and doesnt have any downgrades which is great.
...
The characters are very complex as in other Urasawa works.
I would say it is a 10/10 adaptation, also a very good anime with a complex plot. If you want a complex plot about machines, murders and mistery this anime is for you.

Animation:
The animation was good. Yeah, it had CGI, but it wasn’t horrible. It wasn’t anything flashy, but it looked decent overall. Some parts did feel like they had a lower budget and could be criticized for that, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker.
8/10
Music:
Overlord has PERFECT openings and endings. I can’t say anything bad—absolute BANGERS for both OP and ED. The rhythm and animation were awesome, and honestly, Overlord doesn’t have a single bad OP or ED.
10/10
...
Plot:
Okay, so this is a tough one. The plot wasn’t bad, but it was so political that, at times, I couldn’t even remember why they were doing certain things. It felt like:
"They’re stealing food, so we’ll trick this noble, then attack this village… but at this specific time because…?"
The story wasn’t always clear and lacked some explanations—probably because the anime felt a bit rushed. However, it wasn’t terrible, and it was understandable to a degree. The pacing made some big jumps between subplots, which made it feel disjointed. But if you make the effort to follow along, you can piece together what’s happening.
7.25/10
Characters:
Ainz was as good (and cruel) as always. The guardians were great too, but I really missed Sebas since he barely appeared. There were a lot of seemingly important characters—like the dwarves and the beastmen—but they didn’t get much screentime.
The princess’s story was interesting, but it also felt a bit rushed. Her role in helping Nazarick wasn’t super clear, but her story with Climb wrapped up well in terms of her true nature.
7.25/10
Overall:
I’d recommend it if you’ve seen the previous seasons, but it’s clear that it needed a slower pace since some things were hard to follow. I still enjoyed seeing another season of Overlord, but I liked the earlier ones more. That said, if you’ve watched the previous ones, you should definitely check this out.

Animation:
The animation was pretty good. The art style changed slightly, making it more cartoonish than previous seasons, but it still looked great. The focus was more on movement rather than maintaining a perfectly consistent look, but it worked well in every scene, including the more serious moments with spells. The quality remained strong throughout.
9/10
Music:
The OP was excellent—it had the signature Konosuba opening style, and the animation was well done. The ED had the typical chill vibe of a Konosuba ending theme and fit the anime well.

MINOR SPOILERS (Almost none)
Plot:
Konosuba's plot is unique since, as a comedy anime, it can't progress like a traditional story-driven series. However, they managed to introduce development through the new character, Iris, and her relationship with Kazuma. Darkness also went through some character growth, and I really liked her story and her father's. The part involving that noble actually made me worry a bit, but it was resolved in classic Konosuba fashion.
The "world-class items" were also mentioned, and they seem like they'll be important in the future. I appreciated that the last episode took a slightly more serious turn. That said, I wish some moments would stay serious instead of always ending in jokes. While humor is a core part of Konosuba, I’d like the serious moments to be more distinct from the comedic ones. That’s my only real complaint.
8.5/10
Characters:
Overall, the characters were great. I would’ve liked to see more of Wiz, but the main cast was fantastic. Darkness’s development was solid—somewhat predictable, but well-executed. Megumin and Aqua fit their roles perfectly and made great use of their screen time.
Vanir was the GOAT—he's such an interesting character, and I liked seeing what he could do with his powers. Kazuma was great as always, and I was surprised by how well he could fight. Iris and her guards were a fresh addition to the anime, bringing good and fun moments. I hope to see more of them in the future.
8.75/10
Overall:
A very good third season. It excelled in all areas and successfully delivered a solid continuation of the previous seasons.
