Both are from the same author of the original series, setup within the wuxia world type. If you enjoyed one, you'll most definitely enjoy the other. Character dynamics between the two leads are also similar, and while they both suffer from the censorship that China puts on LGBTQ+ stories, hints of the danmei (BL) from the original still shine through in places.
