Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!
add

A group of friends goes on an exploration and encounters various enemies and obstacles on their adventures. What makes both anime easy to recommend is their fun tone. Both don't take themselves too seriously and are peppered with awkward actions and funny moments + they have a bit of spicy fanservice that would definitely satisfy the viewer. The groups are often strange and incompetent, but they are always capable of completing their missions in one way or another.

Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt
add

If you enjoy weird anime (and I mean VERY WEIRD anime) then you'll have a good time with the two shows. The best way to describe them is "random nonsense without a clear plot", it follows two characters spending their days in the most bizarre way possible while background characters and the world surrounding them are surreal and chaotic. The comedy aspects also relies on suspension of disbelief, as you're not suppose to find logic in everything that is happening. Two clear differences between them is that Panty & Stocking has a stylized, unique, and cartoony artstyle followed by competent animation while Mr. Stain is just poorly aged CGI + Panty & Stocking relies a lot on vulgarity and gross out, Mr. Stain is silent and there are no dialogues whatsoever. However the strange feeling you'll get after finishing them would be relatively the same, don't expect anything deep, just go in them and have a good laugh experiencing what REAL weird anime looks like.

Jahy and Satania are cute little devils with a group of friends who goes into slice of life events and little adventures. Similar comedy, both light hearted atmospheres, both with slow development and both are set in modern Tokyo. Check them if you want some good humor, Gabriel and Jahy can get your attention with funny quirks.

Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon
add

A powerful maid and a relatively normal roommate slowly form a strange relationship between each other, accompanied with goofy and funny characters. Along with weird shenanigans there are also serious moments along the way, mostly around the worlds where the maids come from! Both shows are colorful and have stunning animation, very eye candy!

Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu
add

The main protagonist is a God, and they are at the center of everything involving in the story! Both anime looked very impressive for being made in the mid 2000s, Haruhi definitely surpassed the other in popularity but the overall concept is similar. Their clever writing and charming characters are easy to swallow.

Do It Yourself!!
add

Lovely, chill and cute Iyashikei anime involving a group of girls in a school club doing mechanical activities. They can be educational in their own respects but Yuru Camp△ definitely takes the educational aspects in a much higher level. Regardless both can be very good at curing your soul from depression.

Bocchi the Rock!
add

Almost 10 years after Nichijou another Slice of Life anime takes a huge step in creativity and comedic entertainment. Both passion projects, they rely mainly on humor and they rarely ever stop having an energetic atmosphere and over the top jokes. One plus I can say about Bocchi is that it uses funny gags to also create a slow but satisfying character development and the adaptation is overall an improvement over the manga from what I've heard.

Sci-fi cyberpunk anime with a very depressing mood that will make new viewers have tough time to complete them. Mysterious characters, slow development and both take place in an underground city set in a post-apocalyptic future.

School Days
add

Brutal, edgy, unforgettable classics of the 2000s. Nudity, blood (School Days only in the last episode), dumb characters and an unexpected turn of events and atmosphere. I personally enjoyed both of them, Schools Days a bit more despite the usage of filler mostly during the middle. They both have many flaws undoubtedly and I wouldn't say they're good shows but despite that I think they work just fine at being entertaining.

Aoi Bungaku Series
add

Both series are structured with multiple different stories in which many characters face their own crisis, one of these crisis is about finding their own identities, and also facing against their inner monster, the episode "No Longer Human" is a clear example that can easily be compared to Monster. Both are followed with a very creepy and tense atmosphere.

Sonny Boy

Many characters go through deep changes and development, facing their personal obstacles with other people. They have interesting meaning behind characters' actions and also unique/creative art style and animation that fits fine with their tone. Not very hard to understand what is happening but I'm sure you might have a lot of struggle with these.

Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi
add

Starts off with the main character being a normal individual but after the first episode he's involved into dangerous fights against monsters and villains. The protagonist becomes crazy powerful and he's surrounded by hot chicks who are ready to help him in their adventures. Redo of Healer has of course a more violent/edgier tone and it's way more borderline Hentai then DxD, but the concept for these two is extremely similar in my eyes.
