What exactly is the target audience, or intended message of Plus Sized Elf?

If there are any characters that aren't shown naked I don't remember them. Some are naked in every episode. It isn't horny style naked, but not incidental either. Like...non-pushy sexual nudity? I think the creator of the show just has a thing for ladies with extra weight on them. It isn't bad, but the plot of the show is the opposite of the characters--it's so skinny and emaciated, it's a wonder it survives all 12 episodes, half length though they are.

Given the high priority in espousing the ...

Level 1 Demon Lord and One Room Hero is a comedic take on the "demon lord is reborn" scenario, and is a pretty good show. The world it takes place in is an unusual mix of fantasy and modern day elements-- the protagonists still fight with swords and magic, but also have smartphones.

I liked the demon lord character and his/her romantic overtures to the hero, it was wholesome and nice. I liked the way the companions to the hero are indirectly revealed, especially Yuria the wizard. I don't think she even shows up in the present timeline until the last episode, ...

From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad's Been Reincarnated! is a surprisingly charming and innovative take on the "reincarnated into an Otome game" scenario.

I really liked the wholesome dynamic of the MC's family. They're all otaku and they get each other. The dad, who at first consideration, would be the WORST possible person to play a young teen in an all girls academy, actually crushes it with his life experience and parenting skills, despite knowing very little of the actual game plot. It plays out similarly to many of the anime with this scenario plays out, where the MC's inadvertent high charisma distorts ...

Beheneko has a semi-decent plot. It resolves satisfactorily enough, and wasn't difficult to watch. But it's also super porny for no reason other than to be super porny, and that's a big detraction to me.

I like the idea of sealed forms that can only be activated when conditions are met. I like the method of acquiring new skills, which require an inspiration to materialize. Apart from that, there really isn't much that happens in the anime. I doubt I'll watch it again.

The OP end ED animation and music were unremarkable. I skipped them after watching them once or ...

I'm an absolute sucker for Isekai, so I really wanted to like this. But it's just...not very good.

It starts off interesting. How can a bunch of oddly specific "leftover" skills be put to good use. But it never really leans into this, and the obviously OP skills that others acquired aren't explored much either.

Then the plot is about a main villain, but they're killed off in a few episodes. They're OP without a reason for being so, then they're suddenly not and they die.

Then the plot is about adventuring, but this only consists of "we're going out ...

Management of a Novice Alchemist is an odd anime, and unfortunately not in a good way. Still it has some nuggets of harvest-able experience. After all, I have watched it twice, so it isn't TERRIBLE. The show has both "Wow!" and "What?" elements--unusual for most shows, especially ones that aren't the best like this one.

First, the "What?": In like, the first episode, there's this weird capitalist semi-soliloquy in the middle of a life saving procedure that doesn't fit at all. And throughout the show there's a capitalist theme about profits and such. It feels like the creator of ...

The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior scratches the isekai itch. It has some fine highlights that make it worth a watch, but as with many isekai, it also presents some serious flaws that prevent it from ascending to a universally good anime.

The story? Mostly good. It follows the My Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom template. Except unlike Catarina Claes, the protagonist of this anime, Princess Pride, plays it straight. She's not the adorable goofball Catarina is. But she still possesses the extreme charisma that results in all around her ...

What an adorable show! I don't usually like characters with no self confidence, but in this show they made it charming and funny. The show is warm and safe at its core, but spiced with danger on the surface to keep things from getting dull.

It reminded me of Bochi the Rock. I'm in the minority in that I didn't particularly like BtR. It's so highly rated that I have to give it a second watching, but I found Bochi the MC to be irritating when I watched it. The MC here acts similarly, but they obviously did something different, ...

I liked it. Granted, I have a soft spot for Isekai. I thought it was going to be bad, based on the press it got. It's weird because the chief complaint as I understand it was bad animation quality. I didn't see any animation that was distressingly bad. I've seen the examples on Reddit that illustrate the problem, but while watching the anime I didn't notice--the intent was conveyed clearly. I've never been one to prioritize such things however. GTO, in my opinion, has terrible animation and art quality. But it's still a great show. ...

I expected to get through half of the first episode rolling my eyes all the while, and drop this anime based on it's premise. I was so surprised by how entertaining the show ended up being, I finished it in one day.

This show is a porn-y romance. Like B-Gata H-Kei, but with the porn dial turned up. Of course, Yamada from BGHK was so over the top hilarious I ended up liking that anime as well. I usually dislike lecherous shows, because it adds nothing to the show, and just seems exploitative against women. But with Please ...
