This series was expensive (it published as daily pass right out the gate on Webtoon, but I don't have the patience so I bought the chapters)

Anyways, it was worth my webtoon coins, because it's so good and I still think about it all the time. It's definitely dark and twisted so if that is your cup of tea you'll probably like this. My best friend didn't understand the twist at the end, so it's a series you really have to pay attention to and think deeply to appreciate it. I love that it's short, to the point, and psychological. I finished this series in 2 ... days with ease

There's some scary elements like serial killers and other serious criminals, but it's in no way a slasher series, it's psychological horror. The characters are nuanced, I don't wanna give too many spoilers but this is a must-read

I'm caught up to chapter 69, and man that cliffhanger!

The characters are funny and trope-y, and this series is full of memes because Jaekyung (the top) says the most awkward lines, but in a good way. Kim Dan (the bottom) is like a forever virgin. The bedroom scenes feel like Groundhogs Day because every time he's sooo surprised, even though Jaekyung bends him over like every day lol. The side characters are hilarious, even wilder than Dan and Jaekyung to me haha. Especially Potato, he's a riot!

Jinx has all of my favorite genres wrapped into one; Drama, comedy, thriller, action. It has a tiny ... drop of romance but more's to come because this is made by Mingwa, and BJ Alex was like that as well. I don't think I can ship Dan and Jaekyung, but who knows. I didn't think I could ship Alex and DG but they ended up being my fave BL ship.

Really, hats off to Mingwa for making a captivating story with a wild plot like Jinx. The plot is genuinely crazy good, but it's overlooked for the bedroom scenes, which are also great. My fave times are when they do it in public and all the shenanigans that ensue. The cliffhangers are amazing and leave me on the edge of my seat every 2, 12, and 22nd of the month. I'm counting down to mid-July

The art is amazing!! It's some of the best I've seen

It's sad to see the negative reviews, like it's just fiction and honestly not that serious. There's a lot more intense Manwha out there, and Jinx is pretty tame in comparison... but since it's so popular everyone acts like it's the most extreme series being published today, unfairly. Jinx is popular for a reason, well, many reasons but I'll leave it there

First, a ramble about how much I love this series;

This manga is the best, my stomach hurt from laughing so hard. I had to put it down like every page to calm down, that's how funny it is. The mangaka is a genius and I wish there was more than five volumes out in English right now. I'm hyped for the sixth one that's supposed to come out later this year. ABSOULTELY HYPED. It's so hilarious and I want more series that are similar, but so far I haven't found another series like this one, despite searching T-T I guess it's time to heck out ... her other series! It's truly underrated, I expected it to have hundreds of reviews, but I guess manga in general is less popular than anime. If you're looking for non-stop entertainment and love crack comedy, I highly recommend it

I love practically all of the characters, they are unique and always bring something fun to the table. The plot is a little random but that's it's charm. The genres are drama, comedy, and romance. Some weird stuff that happens, but it's all outrageous and not meant to be taken seriously. I love Yuri so much - there's no character that's like him. He's a true meme. I randomly crack up on thew bus because his scenes live rent free in my head. Actually, all the scenes live rent free in my head. The MC Tono is surprisingly normal and relatable, which is a great contrast to all the wild characters. When he judges the other characters it's the best haha. The character's expressions are perfect, and the art improves so much each volume. I also love the character designs, it's like impossible to get them mixed up

This is probably my favorite manga, it's just so good and does an excellent job at showing trauma in a meaningful way. An important note though, this story is NOT about gender identity, because it doesn't have trans characters. It was marketed that way and got people's hopes up for trans representation, so they were rightfully upset when it wasn't there. It's a story about sexuality and trauma, with a few hilarious moments at the beginning. It has a very sad scene but it's done in a tasteful way and there's zero nudity. I love all the protagonists and the ending is great. What makes ... this story stand out is the realism. All the characters, events, etc are completely realistic to me. I ship the two main guys, but we don't see many of their interactions. There's a tiny bit of romance which is nice because I prefer other genres more. After finishing this series I was so excited and looking forward to other works by this mangaka. I'm so sad the mangaka isn't with us anymore, rest in peace angel.

I love this series! It's the first BL webtoon I read and it opened the doors of yaoi to me a few years ago. I'm ace but the bedroom scenes were very entertaining and they contained character development. I'm not repulsed by seeing that stuff, if it matters. And when I read it, it was still censored, maybe it still is, but Jinx is not censored anymore. The white glow sticks are becoming a thing of the past it seems. I can say the the main couple in BJ Alex are favorite BL ship, and maybe my only Bl ship. This series is a classic ... and I highly recommend it to anyone with an open mind. The genres are slice of life, drama and a little bit of comedy. One of my friends isn't ace and she was bothered by how many bedroom scenes there are lol, and I'll admit there's a lot. She said "all they do is have hex!" lol. So if that's not your cup of tea, then maybe it's not for everyone. A side character with blonde hair is SO HOT. He's totally my type, and I'm not into watching S&M, but I love his expressions and his collar is cute. I really don't ship him with his partner, but most BJ Alex fans seem to ship them. The ending was really good and made me feel lots of emotions, but I won't say because it's kind of a spoiler

This is probably the worst manga I've read and it was a let down because I was really looking to get into yuri series. I'm writing this review as a warning to others. This is an anthology so it has many short stories by different authors published into one volume... I liked one of the stories, the one about the two teachers, it was cute and held my attention, but it was overshadowed by all the boring, objectifying, or age-fetish stories. There was one story that particularly left me feeling queasy. If you can stomach a glossed-over, and predatory story that's played off as comedy ... then you might be able to enjoy the other stories. By predatory I mean it alluded to a woman's PDF file backstory. Yeah, great Yuri representation. And I'm not throwing that PDF file word around, they made it very clear what she did to her little kid neighbor in the past, and when she grows up they do an adult video scene together, and "enjoy it.' Eyeroll emoji

. I actually feel bad for rating this manga 1-star because most of the other short stories deserve a higher rating. Whatever you do, skip chapter three

I love this series! It's a really great mystery and end was satisfying to me. I predicted some of the twists but not all of them and not the ending. The art is impressive. Each character is unique from each other, and I liked the realistic tone of this story. I could imagine liking it even more if I was the same age as the protagonists, but it was still really fun to read as an adult. If you like puzzles and mysteries this is a must-read. It really makes you think about the world. Even though it's only three volumes, it's jam-packed with content
