I did watch in broadcast order and still liked it, but under the caveat I did it in one straight through binge... which honestly, is probably the only safe route to watch it that way.
There are 2 or 3 alternative watch orders and lots of arguments about where to put what. I don't think the "true" chronological order is the best though since I think there's more impact in putting certain events as a flashback, but I can't certify any order because of how bad this director butchered it.

Rushed feeling.
I'm massively disappointed in the anime adaptation of this story... which is weird for me to say because I don't normally read manga, nor am I any kind of source material elitist. The story as it was presented in the majority of the first season was good enough for me to jump ship to the manga and follow from there. The first season made some decisions about the plot to consolidate the story in a way to better translate it to the seasonal/episodic nature of a anime, which worked greatly in it's favor for adapting the first major arc of the story, but ends up ...

If you enjoy Shounen for what it is, then this will not disappoint. If you came here looking for another Boku no Hero, you may find your patience tested.
To compare it with the other Shounen titles it strives to place itself among, I would rank it above average (slightly) despite it borrowing a lot of concepts and plot devices from it's peers (a clear fingerprint of the editors if you ask me).
