Initially I was prejudiced against anime and people who watched it but after seeing a Katawa Shoujo meme, around 2014, I wanted to try the game out. After completing the game I wanted to play more romance-centred VNs but didn't have any disposable cash so, instead of playing Clannad, I watched it.
After that I fell in love with the medium and proceeded to binge watch a lot of shows. I didn't create my MAL account until many years later and I deeply regret this because it was such a pain trying to remember everything I'd watched lol.

My favourite anime usually have some elements of romance involved but my tastes are quite diverse. I'm willing to give most anime a shot but I tend to avoid most Isekei and especially Isekei (or fantasies involving Isekei elements) that include "skills" and especially "cheat skills". There's nothing wrong with playing your fantasy setting straight; we don't need RPG menus and levels in everything might and magic.

I also collect figures, which I started in 2022. My first figure was Pixie from Shin Megami Tensei and I intended on collecting figures from various anime I watched and games I played but I realised I'd soon run out of space if I did this so I decided to focus my collection on Elves.

I've always been drawn to Elves in media, especially video games, and so when I decided to refocus my collection on Elves it was due to me collecting a figure series called "Elf Mura" or Elf Village and wanting to ensure I had enough room to collect them all.
