Yumiko and Chika are voice actors/ idols who are trying to keep their job a secret. They are also classmates and know of each others work personas, but don' t make the connection. At first it isn't clear why exactly they want to keep it a secret. Chika makes more sense as she has been getting work, but Yumiko is struggling to get noticed. Then the agencies find out and they're put on the same radio show. That's practically the beginning of the drama. The show doesn't focus on their school life or classmates at all though and I feel like that was a
...
missed opportunity.
That could of been used for comedic purposes or for them to get advice from a average contemporary but instead the school is just used for cheap drama. The superfan guy that's zooming in on pictures and stuff couldn't recognize Chika? Maybe they haven't been in the same classes for years, it is also unclear what year of high school they're even in anyway. Not recognizing Yumiko's gyaru look atleast makes more sense. Chika looks too similar though. Then we have a character who i assume recognizes Chika earlier and stalks her?? This needed some buildup, but instead it's just 0 to 100. You could show him stalking her earlier for literally 20 seconds. He is gone just as quickly as he appears. Then after their cover is blown, it isn't shown if it changes their school life at all. Chika isn't shown interacting with anyone, but does Yumiko's friend change? From there it kinda turns into a villain/issue of the week show. The drama is forced through these specific characters and isn't very good. Mom and dad are issues, random fans/classmates are issues, idol who is also a superfan.. etc They hint at themes that idols would have to deal with, but none of it is done well. There are other characters, but they are all either one note or interchangeable. There is another stalker who is narrowing down where Chika lives and this has happened in real life, but I don't think I'll watch enough to see what happens with that. I know Japanese idol culture is specific. But do people really think that idols aren't playing characters? I get why the agencies don't want you to break character and do your own thing though.
The show doesn't really do a good job of showing how popular they are. Yes they are shown to have fans, but compared to who exactly? Do media and random people really hangout outside of high schools to get photos of some young voice actors or idols? I guess someone would be interested if you're cast as lead in a gundam type show though. The school itself is shown to do nothing. I also thought they could of spent more time showing if they are both actually any good at singing and dancing. It would make sense if and add depth if Yumiko wasn't particularly good. The romance if you can even call it that consists of them going through these issues together as coworkers.
The ost isn't special and is quite sparse. There is this one notable song though that has this creaking/croaking sound that I first thought was a frog in a flower pot i have. It just sounds like it weirdly isn't coming from the same source as everything else. lol I paused and re-winded to make sure it was from the show. I'm not really sure how you're suppose to feel about the music in general. I guess it's good in that it doesn't go for melodrama.
The art is good enough. The style tends to make Yumiko not stand out as much. Everyone is a bit gyarufied in a way. Not exactly sure what they were going for with the perpetually tired/overworked writer character. I was kinda expecting cut ins to show the animes they've worked on as a way to be humorous. But there is nothing like that so far. The direction is pretty standard, outside of boob angles. It's surprisingly serious and doesn't really have jokes or use any facial distortions or exaggerations.
The boob groping was a bit much and I don't even know what to compare it to. Maybe I haven't seen enough yuri/yuribait. Is this normal? I get the seeing each other naked and commenting part, but seemed a bit much. It isn't necessarily romantic and it doesn't seem to really change their relationship. There are also some interesting angles used to show off Yumiko's assets as well. Like even in harems I've seen, the guy just can't say "Nice boobs milady. May I fondle you?" and actually get to do it. Overall I wouldn't recommend this. The premise is interesting and it looks kinda nice, but it doesn't have much to capture your attention. 4/10

The first half is pretty good and enjoyable; while the second half is kinda a slog to get through. You'd think for a show about a journey the actual being there part would pack a punch. But those second half episodes feel almost like filler at times. Like oh this guy likes the project lead..bleh..
The art is pretty good for the characters mostly and the outlines that surround some of them really pop. I didn't really get blown away by the natural environments though. It's actually prettier when they're in cities. It's nonetheless good overall.
The character stories for our 4 main girls get progressively worse
...
for each one introduced. I get that Kimari is the most normal of the 4. She wants to go on a journey, but finds it hard to do anything. Shirase is probably the funniest of the 4 and her story is the most compelling. Even if it is unclear exactly why she wants to go to Antarctica. Hinata is an energetic jokester who just wants to get away. Yuzuki is the worst of the 4 and is just kinda around. She is important to them getting there, but her story is pretty bare. There are basically no male characters of any importance. A few actually do have names, but they don't matter.. There is this thing where they mention the 4 as being underage and not legal as a joke. This happens 3 times or so....
Its unclear if everyone else who makes up the expedition are researchers/academics or what exactly. Are they there just for fun or something? Ok, a few want to build a private observatory? It would of been nice to show the training the 4 supposedly did paying off in anyway. Not saying it had to have action scenes, but they could of came up with something... The setting of Antarctica really doesn't play much of a role. It does mention temperatures, but they aren't shown wearing layers of specialty gear. I would of liked more about the prep required to endure there. Just felt like anyone could of been there and been fine. Here the setting could be replaced by any somewhat dangerous hard to reach place. I guess it does have penguins and aurora though...
I think the show kinda struggles finding a good balance between being upbeat all the time and descriptive. It really leaves a lot of things out. Like why does Hinata really drop out of school? Are we really suppose to believe its because of senpai/seniority issues in a club? The trigger being something she just happened to hear? That seems like a stretch as she is shown to be independently minded. They don't even show her dusting the others running around the ship. Then we waste time with the video message/ live connection drama. Shirase being called "Antarctica" when you assume everyone in town knows her mom died there is probably the meanest/darkest thing in the show. Even if you don't think of it that way at first. I don't get why Shirase's family isn't shown at all. The show gets kinda desperate to mine anything dramatic, it could of had a dynamic where in a flashback her grandmother, father, guardian or anyone has mixed feelings about her plan. Then have them leave a positive message for her. Yuzuki not knowing what friends are or whatever could of been cut entirely and had no payoff. Kimari's friend being mad/jealous of her is similarly a zero. I also thought Shirase spent the money on new first class plane tickets. Did she get refunded?
I would give the first half a 7 maybe a 7.5, but the second half is mostly a drag. Its a 4.5 at best.

This is the first episodic, slice of life sports anime that I've seen. Because of that it is interesting. It doesn't have the usual time for my special technique thing or if we lose this game it's all over feeling. I'm not even a big fan of baseball and I found it to be pretty good. It's not dramatic, but it is somewhat compelling. Each episode generally follows one teammate, employee around the team, or a opposing player. Some are stars, some are minor leaguers, some are commentators, and some are hot prospects etc... It has a lot of variety and touches on lots of
...
topics/issues that a professional athlete may run into. It also manages to find a happy middle between the tragedies of not making it and the highs of success. Because of that it has more depth than I expected.
Bonda is our star, and obsessively knows every player in their leagues' contract. As a middle reliever he always has a chance to play, but he isn't one of the best players.. He generally does well against people who make less than him and less so against those who make more. He isn't shown to be flashy or a big spender, he just wants to hit it big and save up for later. Bonda is funny as a character, but he is quite believable and not overly exaggerated. You might guess that the woman on the poster appears early, but she won't show up for awhile. The other characters are also well done, even if I don't remember their names now. lol
The art is fine for the most part. The style kinda varies a bit of based on the character. Some are drawn more as caricatures while others like Bonda, Yuki, and women in general appear more standard. Its all pretty silly though. The cgi with Bondas pitching is slightly awkward, but you kinda get used to seeing it. The production value isn't that high so the action during the games isn't drawn the best. But the action of the games themselves isn't the main draw, Bonda and the others inner dialogues/conversations are the best parts of the games.
.
Overall I was surprised how much I liked this. I prefer season 1 to season 2. Season 2 kinda shifts to the off season and just isn't as good. I won't get into the reasons but both seasons average out to be a solid 7. There is indeed money buried beneath the grounds...

This show is by no means story driven. It mostly functions as a slice of life, it isn't a show where you're wondering what will happen next. It can get repetitive at times, but it is short enough for it not to overstay its welcome.
The main cast members falls into one of two categories. You're either one of the 7 ChamJam members or one of the otakus. The otakus are lead by Eripiyo, Kumasa, and Mitoi. Eripiyo is a ball of energy and is obsessed with Maina, the least popular member of ChamJam. Eripiyo is kinda is like Kumasa and Mitoi combined. She's gone so
...
far as to sell practically all her clothes to buy merch. Mitoi wants his fave (Sorane) as a girlfriend, Kumasa wants his fave (Reo) to become more famous. It is interesting to have someone obsessed with the least popular member. The way they all care about their fave and not the other members of the band is funny as well.
The band consists of your normal odd number of members. Of course the groups are made so that most people will specifically like at least one member. Their personalities aren't really much more important than the different colors they wear. There is some difference between them in terms of experience and general seriousness, but it isn't dramatically or comedically important. I wonder where Maina would rank if you did a poll of the viewers? lol
It doesn't have a ton of different jokes, but I did laugh at something in every episode. The whole thing about them being a underground group with just a few devoted fans makes it all pretty funny. I think it does a good job of not being too happy or dark. Mitoi for instance doesn't start stalking Sorane and the idols aren't made uncomfortable by someone crossing a line. There is also no jealousy or big fight amongst the members. So the show focuses on comedy and is devoid of drama almost entirely. I feel like it does a good job of showing the harshness of it all without explicitly saying things. The band seems to make almost no progress whats so ever, but its also unclear how long they've been at it (3 years?). It's all kinda absurd, but the real life version is as well.
The interactions between the otakus and the band make up a large portion of the show. They can only interact with them by buying access. Crazed Eripiyo of course is shown taking multiple jobs so that she can buy more merch/time with Maina. These interactions are brief and follow a somewhat scripted pattern. So the only thing the otakus can generally say is how much they love their fave and that they'll continue to support them. It's all pretty routine and professional, anything outside of that is discouraged. Idk what to say about that in this anime or in real life. It's a bit sad, weird, cute, creepy, and a mix of everything. Specifically for the idols with empty lines. The idols need dedicated fans of course. So doing these events helps them and entertains fans. I mean who wouldn't want a photo with their favorite *blank*? How much would you pay? It doesn't really go there, but there is a lot of emotional depth there on both sides.
The animation is pretty good for the most part. Maybe some CGI looks a bit off at times, but the dance routines are done well enough. 3 of the band members look very similar and it is funny when they're talking to each other. Not sure how intentional that was.
The music that ChamJam performs is also generic enough to be recognizable idol fare, but I did find myself laughing at it at times. That guitar part in one of them with the crowd chanting always made me laugh. It might be too on the nose. Outside of that I liked the ending song for what it is. The rest of the ost is fine. The vocals for the cast are pretty nice. I didn't really like 2 of the band members voices, but I don't think they did bad job.
You could make a very different show with a few tweaks to this setup. If i had talent maybe I'd write something myself as I really like the general setting and the possibilities. Arigatou Gozaimashita!! *hits stopwatch*

The drama within the show mostly comes down to senpai stuff/politics.. The majority female cast is generally nice for the most part. So our conflicts come down to who gets the solo or who gets included in the competition. So it is generally a upbeat show. A lot of the initial momentum in the story comes from this lingering feeling of indecisiveness. This indecision is also key to most of the character arcs. This starts as soon as our new teacher appears. There isn't much to say about him, but he gives them a choice between having fun or going for nationals. Maybe there
...
are two or three people that actually know what they want out of being in the band. Everyone else is just along for the ride and I feel accepts this big change too easily. It's kinda like peer pressure, but for what was a lax group before it goes too smoothly. The votes that happen throughout show this. Very few want to take a stance either way on most issues.
I felt like I was paying attention ,but what school is Kumiko suppose to go to? Rikka or the other one? Then it is implied that she doesn't go because she doesn't want to continue in the band. Or maybe that's just my interpretation. It's more like she wants to get away from the people she knew for whatever reason. Anyway she ends up at this new school, meets the cast, and reluctantly joins the band.
It does do a decent job of showing people who play the same instrument as our 4 main characters. That's one reason to have Kawashima, Hazuki, and Kumiko all be in the bass section. There are some fun moments in the early episodes. With Hazuki starting from zero practically, and our tuba guy saying "tuba good!". It's just that everyone who plays another instrument is just filler. If anyone has ever been in a band, they'd understand that different types are drawn to certain instruments. They could of used the section leaders to show some differences between people or show any difference in opinion. That kinda is a big problem with the cast in general. They don't really play well off each other and the story isn't enough to propel things in a interesting way. So it's the normal work hard achieve goal plot. The only curve-ball is the romance element.
Asuka is just on her own thing and mostly serves as comic relief. She seems like she just wants to play around and doesn't have a clear ambition. Reina is the only character that appears to want to be a high level musician. Her crying last year is supposed to show that she is a caring person, but its unclear what the goal was. Her relationship with Kumiko is something.... Kumiko might of been right saying that them not making it wasn't surprising.
There is some tension about how much time you should put into something you don't have further plans for. Aoi being reluctant to continue is one of the more interesting parts. Also a little bit about what to make of someone who is just better than you regardless of effort. I think it works best when it focuses on these short stories. I don't know what to make of the romance. It really blindsided me because nothing before hints at Kumiko and Reina being particularly close. Then they're suddenly talking about confessions of love. I'll chalk down Yuuko and Kaori being more about admiration for a skilled senpai. The 2 episodes with Yuuko fighting over the solo are probably the worst in the series though. I didn't get why no one other than the "lovers" voted after the solos. I guess the band has a bunch of Asukas who don't care either way. Last and least is Hazuki and trombone child friend guy. It's setup as a possible triangle with Kumiko that will probably be returned to later, but in the first season it reveals little about their character.
The art is as shiny as you'd expect. The music is done well and is probably a bit too good too fast, but that's understandable. The parts with mistakes are kinda more interesting. I would of liked to hear more variety in sounds/songs though. Overall I liked the first half more than the second, but will check out the second season.

Am I the only person that went into this thinking it was a seinen? I didn't look into it obviously. My mistake lol. The first episode is the best and had me interested; even if it had faults. When i first saw Setsu I figured he was college aged (18-21). I was very disappointed when he ended up in high school by episode 2. That's where the problems really start. He does look like Sei Handa from Barakamon after all. That show is a lot better. This falls backwards into the same club setting as Kono oto tomare but that's also much better.
So once
...
he's in school, he of course has to be routed to the one member shamisen club. Where our supporting cast members end up without much resistance. The love trio of Yui, Shuri, and Kaito don't add much. Yuna is one of the better characters and she is in 2? episodes. Atleast her character presented potential themes and turmoil. Everyone else is pretty one note and I actually had to lookup that trios names. Can't say I got many feels from the music or the drama it tries to manufacture . I kinda felt like Setsu watching it. A blank. Mai might be one of the worst "rivals" in history. It's not played for laughs either. There is a line near the end about her not being able to be the next heir or whatever. But she like many others is a completely weightless character. The show hints at themes, but that's about it. Setsu is such a blank. Setsu really reminds me of a highly trained, unmotivated mecha or harem protagonist. Everyone loves him here except some of the adults. It would of been better if they had a episode describing basics about the instrument. I can't even tell if the creator likes the instrument. That would be more interesting than the characters and the drama they created.
My highest praise for the show comes from its art, its pretty good. The characters and specifically the adults are all pretty distinctive. It also puts in the effort to animate the performances. Adding the snow, wind, and various other effects to the musical performances didn't really help much though. It's dramatic but it isn't fun or emotionally satisfying. Waiting for crowds to clap is kinda the height of drama and good feels here.
The show is somehow too wacky/silly in a way. It is a weird mix, because it isn't particularly humorous. Things like the kicks from the girls seemed mostly out of place. I don't get the deal with Setsu's mom. Is she a crime boss or just a famous eccentric? Well pretty much all the named adults except Setsu's brother are weird and unlikable. I thought from his flashback that has brother was at most 6 years older, but he looks like he is 30 something. Hence people thinking he is Setsu's dad. The show could easily exist without the most of the adults though and be better for it. Them being bad/devious or whatever is hard to make any sense of.
It's not the worst, but I can't think of much of a reason to recommend it. Very little happens, and it also doesn't have the charm to be a enjoyable diversion. Maybe if you're really into the shamisen... After 12 episodes Setsu discovers that while he can mimic his grandad it's better if he doesn't. The end..? Wait why did he leave for Tokyo without a plan again? idk either....

I wasn't quite sure what to expect with this show. It isn't bad, but I don't see a lot of people loving it. Sorry if this makes no sense, I was just jotting down thoughts and got lazy. Not really a play by play..
It's not a gag show or sitcom by any means. Some stuff is funny nonetheless. Lily and others are funny to hear speaking English. Lily doesn't have a perfect British accent by any means, but it works. I really liked Lily's father yelling "bloody hell!!" after losing the crane game. They seemed to have put some extra effort into the English
...
and engrish compared to other shows. Everyone realistically doesn't speak at the same level. This doesn't go both ways, Lily and her parents Japanese seems fine to me. Maybe since I'm trying to learn Japanese I got more enjoyment out of this aspect than an average viewer would.
The games in the arcade are used for some jokes and references, but thankfully it isn't too big on memes . There is some fun in seeing Lily and the others play games badly. In the fighting game tournament episode they have one character do the akuma pose after winning like an actual pro named tokido did. I didn't get the sunny or rainy part of this character though. Maybe is related to akumas heaven kanji?? I did like the 4 "gods or heavenly somethings" of the game being a joke though. lol Also the regulars at the arcade have some funny moments once in awhile.
The cast is pretty small ,but expands a little around half way. Mostly consisting of Lily's classmates. The actual notebook exchanges between Renji and Lily kinda get ignored after this and Lily is basically fluent in Japanese by episode 4. So there is no more humor mined out of them miscommunicating; that all shifts to antics with Lily's father. At the beginning shes suppose to have no friends. By the end the whole cast is endeared to her. Renji is your average considerate guy, he doesn't have many other qualities to speak of.
Maybe people won't like that the cast except her dad finds her liking Renji cute. It is a bit awkward at first, but i feel like it becomes less important to each episode over time.
Its all just about making Lily happy. That is the real plot of the show. It isn't so much about culture clash or a fish out of water story. Everyone is nice to her, there isn't even someone who starts out guarded but gets converted.. Unless you count her "rivals". lol I don't mean that as a complaint. She is charming and the show intentionally avoids just about all negativity. No negative talk about foreigners, bad grades, or not getting that toy koala..etc In that way it is a very light watch.
The art is pretty moe as you'd expect. It's not quite cuteness overload though. The backgrounds that are sometimes used are also nice. The actors are good, but I'm not a fan of the music. It's a generally inoffensive show, people worried about Renji being a pedo/abuser don't have to worry. It also isn't really a feel good show , you're not going to see beauty unfold here. 5.5 stars

Our lead (is he though?) Takezou is the last person remaining in the club after all the girls graduate. It's up to him to keep the club alive. He then tries to inspire others to join and plays at freshmen orientation. This doesn't go well. I haven't watched a ton of koto performances, but thinking back I've never seen a guy play it. I can't really explain why the koto is seen as a feminine instrument. The show isn't for foreigners first though, so it doesn't really try to explain much about koto basics/history. This is a unsaid part of why Takezou is
...
so uncool and its also a reason why seeing the delinquent Chika wanting to play it is surprising.
Since this is a 13 episode season the show really does a good job of keeping focus. It could branch of and show Chika not doing well in classes or whatever for comic relief. Most time in episodes either shows someone trying to sabotage the club, them working towards a goal, or a backstory. It doesn't feel like it's trying to fill time. The actual music performances are kinda short, but they get the point of the scene across. They're generally emotionally satisfying.
The animation production isn't great, but I actually like the art style. Particularly for the girls, it reminds me of retro stuff a bit. It doesn't try to wow you with its animation though and it does take liberties to really not draw stuff at times. This is pretty noticeable in the early episodes...
Each character, outside of our 3 secondary Chika guys (2nd season maybe?), have a tragic backstory of some sort that directs them towards the koto/club. Some of them are more effective than others, but most characters issues are quickly resolved. For example Hiro shows up to sabotage the club, and I think it lasts 1 or maybe 2 episodes. After that she's kinda fixed and becomes normal. Satowa's story is not resolved though so maybe it will come up again in 2nd season The characters from the other schools have bigger quirks, but they aren't around enough to be too annoying.
In general the show is enjoyable enough, but I think some would be disappointed in its approach. There isn't enough romance, drama, music, or comedy for some..etc It's just kinda middle of the road. Not bad not great.

I'm not sure how this has such a high rating.. It's alright, but it doesn't really excel at anything.
The first few episodes are interesting. I like the idea of starting after the big bad is defeated and the main hero dies. It just doesn't seem to do much with that before moving on. The show seems to be divided in 3 to 4 different sections. Because of this it also has an identity crisis at times. The show does use flashbacks, but they aren't about the actual state of the world. They're just more about Frieren herself or to show a simple backstory. So
...
you don't really see what changed.. The world is pretty bare and every place seems sameish outside of maybe environmental features. . You would think everyone would be surprised to see a elf, but nope essentially no reaction. The show is emotionally muted in general and also isn't profound. So I can see some being bored with it.
It's hard to tell whats actually more important to the story. The party defeating the demon king or is it just Frieren meeting himmel? Its unclear what defeating him actually did. The demons still do what they do. Are they just under a new most powerful demon or there are fewer demons now? Was himmel actually super strong or just a nice guy? Did Heiter have to actually do anything? lol
You can assume that everything is fine between the dwarfs, elves, and humans. So the only conflict comes from the monsters. Its a bit weird having villains that can talk and are cunning, but are also somewhat mindless.. So they have no character. That can work but they aren't zombies or something similar.. The backstories are all kinda the same. A Town is destroyed by demons and another character just happens to show up.. I would probably like this show more if it was actually slice of life, but a majority of its episodes convey very little about daily life in this universe. It loves showing ignored statues in various towns and talking about people being forgotten ,but the people here don't really seem to remember much of anything anyway. "You kinda look like the elf on that statue". Like the demons have been around forever too i think. Why wouldn't everyone know their nature and that you can't reason with them? Or was that only written down in a secret book?
The characters are just kinda there. Stark first appears as the brave coward, but outside of that he's kinda just filler for Fern. Fern is kinda just a younger human version of Frieren. Frieren herself is hard to pin down. Are elves supposed to be this apathetic? She wants to be more powerful to fight more demons, but she is in no rush to actually do so. She may already be the most powerful being anyway. After doing her friends last wishes, I guess the last thing to do would be to visit heaven. Maybe the show would of been better if she traveled solo and it explored her thinking more. I'll continue watching but I'm not looking forward to the mage exam arc.

This is another show/story with a initial premise, but not much else. First off I'm not sure how this earned a psychological themes or a suspense/thriller tag. Not much actually happens and it doesn't even seem to attempt those things from what I made it through. Maybe the whole peeping episode was suspense or it does a big changeup later, but seems doubtful... lol. I actually don't mind the first 4 eps or so, but it seems to lose direction pretty quickly..
The first two episodes don't really setup the world well.. This starts with our main characters. There is a bus scene that
...
shows them all to self centered, lazy, and somewhat antisocial. Looking back, this scene is actually one of the most important ones in showing who these "elite" characters are. In it Karuizawa (the extra friendly character) is trying to get someone to give their seat to an old lady. Of course none of the new elite students get up, including our two leads, and some other random person eventually does. This could of been a interesting setup to show what the school is looking for; compared to what general society would. Ayanokouji is just around. His whole not standing out thing makes no sense since he is also at the most prestigious school and all.. I kinda like him in the first few eps, but its impossible to know why he is even there and the same goes for everyone else. That could be mysterious but here every foundational detail is just ignored. So the motives just never appear outside of horikita wanting to be in class A because brother reasons. Karuizawa wants everyone to be friends with her because? And she really hates Horitaka because?? idk
The plot with the basketball guy failing because his score was below a curve is kinda weird. What super elite school would do that?. Unless they're trying to make the students more cooperative? But he wasn't accepted to get high scores anyway right? idk It gets confusing fast because there are freshmen and upperclassmen of each rank, I think lol . There could of been variety introduced by showing like a class D senior who has been through it all already. Or have a really tiny junior Class D because people are slowly but steadily getting expelled or quit? Just something to give the school life. Why are people initially slotted into the different ranks? Well why should you expect the answer to that when you don't even know how students get accepted or picked anyway??
Like what actual skills is the government trying to develop here? Or what bad thing are they doing? I would of liked to see more teachers doing stuff. There are lots of different subjects obviously. That way you can show that the characters have different interests and strengths. Of course our OP protag would be good at everything, but this just feels like a normal high school with semi collective points added in. I just feel like the students should have wacky teachers and assignments. Give the characters something to actually do, so that they can differentiate themselves. Watch these kinder-gardeners, play a song, take care of these animals, prepare food, play this game, something other than cheating on tests, buying points, peeping, Ayanokuoji building a harem, or being in weird gangs... lol
The fan service/boobage in general is a bit much.. I don't get why the sakura character doesn't remove her bikini photos from the card before the meeting.. I guess she just wants everyone to see them or can't without the camera?? The reaction is actually quite muted though so there's that. Her stalker working in the self contained city makes no sense. Outside of that shes just another member of the harem. In the beginning the teacher talks about being cut off from the outside world. maybe that doesn't mean internet?? She was uploading bikini pics as a middle schooler i guess and announced she got accepted? He then follows her to this place and stuffs her school mailbox?? Or only people within the city see her new ones? Nevermind I won't think about it more.
I guess its good that the school issued phone gives your location to classmates?? It's kinda inferred that the school knows everything about everyone and is constantly watching. But there is no specific character watching so it isn't really a "baddies in the shadows" thing. I was really hoping to see some shady adults in a dark room or something talking about how they have "Big hopes for X" or something.. I guess the student council guy is supposed to fill that role, but it doesn't work. I guess our lead also knows practically everything as well.
The art is fine, the eyes are unique and don't get too distracting. Even if it is a bit weird seeing someone with orange and purple eyes... I kinda like the ending song, the ost is there too. You actually wouldn't have to change much to make this into a good parody though..
