My first ever anime

The first ever anime I watched that made me figure out what anime was was Fullmetal Alchemist (2003). I found out about it when I was 10 years old. I bought a anime magazine that came with the first 4 episodes on a DVD and it was also that same magazine that introduced me to the wonderful world of Japanese animation. And ever since then, life was never the same xd

Hi~ Thanks for the add!

FMA (2003) as a first anime is wild in the best way, like there’s something almost poetic about starting your anime journey with a story so deeply rooted in loss, sacrifice, and the cost of truth, and discovering it through a physical anime magazine with a DVD? Sounds like a secret door opening up from a dusty corner of childhood straight into another world.
